1 ★While the service is nice, the app is horrible. Foremost ending a rental is unnecessary complex, slow and often just fails after a while leading to hour long rentals after parking. This never happens with any other car sharing app.
1 ★Great cars, TERRIBLE APP. At the airport, trying to pickup the car we reserved, but the app won't let us login. The password is accurate, but login in denied. Trying a code (2FA) and the code is denied, too.
1 ★It's amazing how the Sixt cheat with pricing. In a App, the rent price +1-5% if we are comparing with web. Also, if you will use "special offers" with *up to 25% discount, the price will be higher!!!! If we will search the same car on a laptop.
1 ★Horrible customer experience and care. Sixt charged my bank account twice. They put a flag on my account even after I proved them wrong. Not knowing about the flag still on my account I attempted to rent again. No one could tell me why there is block on my profile even after calling and emailing to no avail. Customer service representatives are allowed to say it's not my problem and pass the problem to someone else. A task passed is a task complete is wrong on so many levels. Nightmare!
1 ★Your app and support sucks. I've trying to set up my profile and the App keeps on rejecting my ID and Passport for no reason.
1 ★I cannot verify. The second I accept the privacy statements the app goes to a screen 'Are you sure that you want to cancel this identification process?'. I reinstalled the app multiple times..
5 ★Great customer service every time! The booking process is easy and straight forward, no hidden costs. The cars are always clean and in great condition.
1 ★In-app camera is terrible. Cannot pass document review because in-app camera takes low quality blurry compressed pictures, and no option to pick an existing photo. Cannot use!
1 ★Extremely bad service. The electric scooters are in bad condition, very weak brakes and they won't go faster than 20 km/hr. An old man on a bicycle was going faster than me. There are also many "red zones" just in the middle of the town. The scooter will just go off and refuse to work. So you'd have to push it up the street. I gave it back and took a bus instead. Never gonna use it again. It's a joke.
1 ★Don't use for taxi services. App never confirms if a driver has accepted, then when you notice and cancel with driver 30mins away they charge you the full fee twice! Customer service is non existent. Just use Uber.
5 ★All of my experiences with Sixt and their app have been excellent. I use them to book my car whenever possible when I travel. Highly recommend!
