How to install Zipcar APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Zipcar APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)

Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

2 ★When it works, it's fine. Drivers often leave things behind, sometimes there are weird smells, and the locations aren't always convenient. Multiple times the car I've reserved hasn't been at the location when I arrive, and calls to customer service always involve a wait. I'm writing this review while waiting for a call back about that same issue because the wait time was excessive. Not recommended for appointments or urgent driving. Make 'Car isn't where it's supposed to be' an option in the app
1 ★This app stupid. It automatically plugs in the current hour and to book for 1 hr. Thats annoying. It doesnt show the cars booked hours so u can see if an hr off or on. Its hard to see the address of the location. This whole app can be a lot easier. They have horrible customer service who never can help u. They over charge for late fee 150. More than the price of the car. I still didn't get my full refund for having to uber to a new location because the car had no keys. Yr subscription is a waste
3 ★Terrible app, and so many UX holes. For example, if the previous driver of the car you book is in an accident, you are not informed. So you may go to find your car, only it's not there. The app is SO simplistic, it's like visiting a 90s webpage. And while the customer service line helpful, it takes 40 mins on hold to get to them. Zipcar has an amazing offline service (good integration with the cars, good coverage, lots of choice) but such rubbish integration with their own app. Hire some devs!
2 ★Zipcar is great when it works, but you simply can't rely on it and when there's a problem, hold times can easily extend beyond 30min and quality has dropped over the years I've used it. Recently I've had Zipcar frequently cancel trips on me or change the car to an unsuitable one. I've had cars that were undrivable (low pressure and missing mirrors). And as I write this, I'm hold for "second level support" since my current car decided to lock me out while it's in an area without reception.
5 ★Never rent a zip car that's parked inside a cover garage! You'll not get signal and you need it to use the app on your phone to unlock the vehicle. That was my first bad experience however, after complaining about it I was switched to a different vehicle and was able to get into a zip car. The app is user friendly, you get FREE GAS and Free roadside assistance and more!! I was able to rent 2 different vehicles with absolutely no problem, it's super easy no hassle with background check.
1 ★Rented Zipcar 4 times in Pittsburgh so far. Never had a good experience. Either the car isn't available even after reservation. Or they change the pickup location of the car without even asking you. And at times, the car doesn't unlock admist the trip due to app/software problem. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have no other alternative.
1 ★Where is the car? Far too often zipcar users do not return their rental car on time, and the next renter is stuck with no car at all. At the very least this app should allert the next client that the car has not been returned. Better yet, indicate on the app where the car actually is, so one can estimate if it is worth waiting. Or even better, always keep a spare car at every location as a backup.
1 ★Terrible experience. Booked a car in advance that I needed for the day for work. Walked 20 minutes just to find the car had people sleeping in it. They couldn't find me another car. So they canceled and sent me $25 credit. I found a car across town. A friend picked me up and once I got there found out they canceled it on me. So now I'm in an uber and late for work. Very unreliable service. Also took me about an hour to get someone on the phone.
2 ★So logging in works now, which is good I guess. However of the one reservation I've made, they switched my car with a much smaller one that wouldn't work for me. You can't edit just which car you're getting on a trip, so you have to cancel and rebook it. I'm guessing they charge you for the trip if they switch the car on you last-minute and you are forced to cancel?
1 ★Got a year-long membership with ZipCar and booked my first trip for 9am today. Last night the app was working and everything looked good. 8am day of the trip I try to open the app (this is how you gain access to the car) and it won't let me in bc of a billing problem on their end (only 2/3 payments went through but not all). I called customer service and have been waiting for a human for 40 minutes now. If I cancel the trip I will be charged a cancellation fee. And it's raining 😂
1 ★Customer service never answers your call and when they do, they are absolutely useless. There were MULTIPLE times when I booked a car and when I got to the parking lot, the cars were either: 1. never there or 2. Unable to start. And I can't get a hold of customer service to cancel/get a refund, because the line's always busy. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME & MONEY. I can't believe this app is still operating.
2 ★Great service but horrible app. Recent updates mean that "end ride" button on flex works less than 50% of the time. The rest of the time you have to call for support to end ride and lock the vehicle. Frequent messages also if "no active reservation" until so is killed, and completely reloaded. Also can't understand how the damage report doesn't simply allow photograph upload in the app instead of writing it on a paper log book.
