Important Note: From android version 4.4 onward, only one app can handle text messages and it needs to be set as the default messaging app. So if you are on Android 4.4 or higher, you need to set Safest Call and Text Blocker as default messaging app to block AND send text messages. 4 ★But app can't show time of imcoming block calls (mine is S5). Showing every block calls as 1 Jan 1970. Need to fix it. I bought app and it keeps asking to write review even though it is done.

2 ★Paid $3.99 but still getting pop-up ads @ bottom of screen. Plus it doesn't ever really go away. Very annoying. This is supposed to be ad-free! Call block function is fine at least, but so is the free version.

1 ★While one a phone call and an incoming call occurs which should be blocked the end result is the call is disconnected as a result of the block. That's unacceptable. OK so annoying I uninstalled it

1 ★This app is not worth a penny. I missed important calls because it blocked all my contacts even though it was instructed not to and on top of that, it silenced my phone completely! Stay away from it.👎

1 ★Not happy :( I tried the free version first and it seemed okay. Unfortunately the paid version, although offering more features does not provide symmetric capabilities between Calls and Messages, plus the new features cannot be specified 'globally'. For example, you can block All Calls from private or Not-on Contact List, etc; but you can only set auto reply messages to Calls at the INDIVIDUAL phone number level. Also, you can ONLY Block All Messages or specify individual phone numbers. There is no option to block Messages from Not-on Contact List. And again, auto replies are at the individual phone number level. For me, the paid-for features are next to useless. It's also buggy. When I add an individual phone number from Contacts or Manually, it shows 'Block Unknown' with number of '0'. And another gripe, I have to make it the Default Messaging App. On top of all that, there is no REFUND BUTTON !!!

4 ★THE GOOD: This app does what it is supposed to do! On my Galaxy S6 Edge it is set to block "Private numbers" (those hiding their caller id) and "unknown" (not a contact). It has blocked 27 calls since I installed it earlier this month. Blocked calls are sent to voicemail, which works for me, because telemarketers rarely leave a message, but acceptable callers will leave a message. OBVIOUS BUG: The blocked call LOG screen does not show when each call was blocked, all entries show "Dec 31, 1969". WOULD LIKE TO SEE: Log screen show correct date/time & calling number of blocked call.

1 ★No matter how numbers are added it shows them only as "0" so it doesn't block anything. Tantamount to blatant theft. Can't see any option to seek support.

4 ★I suppose to give a 5 star but unfortunately every time I add a number to be block, the number that I am adding is not showing.

2 ★The free app shows what number I blocked. The paid version shows a 0 for the blocked number. I dont know who it is.
