Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

3 ★Good app, when it works. Spotty connection issues. Purchased software, but app doesn't recognize purchase. Once you're in and connected, it's a fairly good app.
5 ★The ability to change various units such as miles/kms, litres/ gallons, degreees C°/ F°, but my most favourite of all is the Okm-100km function. It'll automatically reset when you come to a stop and also permanently displsy your best time.
1 ★It wants too many permissions, pics, data, phone calls, gps. It wont even load without those.
1 ★What a waste, paid $9.99 just for the app to tell me it doesn't support my vehicles systems... Won't even clear a general check engine light or give a code as to what is causing the light in the first place.
1 ★Running Android ver 9. Crashes on start up every time. Why does this app want access to make phone calls?
5 ★Dashboards work great for monitoring things cars don't have gauges for anymore. Is able to read the transmission temperature in my truck, which five other apps I tried were not able to do.
5 ★Absolutely awesome. Effortless. Easy set up. Real time GPS. All the information you could ask for for Diagnostics of vehicle.
1 ★Cannot log into my account anymore, cannot restore my purchase to be able to get detailed info on my vehicle.
5 ★Seems to be very accurate, much better than the free apps of this type, I fully recommend it!
1 ★Crashes before I get a chance to open the app. Open app, it asks if it can make calls right away, then it crashes.
1 ★I usually don't rate apps, but wanted to let it be known that even AFTER purchasing the app for ten dollars, you are STILL not permitted to view all of your car's error codes without purchasing a second unlock at an additional ten dollars, specifically for the make and year of your vehicle. This is very misleading to me and I feel warrants a one star rating and a warning to others who may be interested in purchasing the app to work on their vehicle, as I did.
2 ★This is probably the best OBD trip computer app available. It's highly customisable and has fantastic features, it really is awesome. Sadly it's limited by licensing constraints. The device I've got it installed on is permanently installed in the car, which means it rarely connects to the internet. Maybe every few months I'll connect it to the internet to do an update or so, if this DashCommand can't connect to a server (I'm not sure which one) it'll revert to Evaluation mode after around 10 days of failed attempts - this happens silently, until evaluation mode is finished, the next time the app is opened it asks the user to accept the EULA, etc. For an app I want to use as a glass cockpit / trip computer- this is a usability headache! If there was a way I could purchase this app without the evaluation mode issue- even if it cost over $50, I would. It's a great app- it's just not reliable without a regular internet connection.
