Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★I bought a Bluetooth OBD2 and downloaded this app specifically so I could have boost, voltage, and AFR gauges in my 2011 subaru sti. Works great overall, but I was wondering: is there a way to get the app to refresh faster? I notice a lot of delay on the speed and RPM when I accelerate. I bought the first ELM327 Obd2 I saw on Amazon for $14, not sure if that could be the bottleneck.
3 ★Seem like a good app, though will not receive info that is readily available from OBD like coolant, also the gearing is wrong, it always seems to sktva gear higher than what I'm actually in. So it's obviously got some cooked maths somewhere in there. Looks like it has potential, but expand the capabilities of the OBD reader to actually pull useful information, or map it to the OBD sensors (Like Torque) and it'd be great!
5 ★I love this app! I own a 1992 Nissan Skyline GTR. It doesn't have OBD2, so a lot of the popular OBD2 apps don't work. Instead, my car uses Nissan Consult. I have an android headunit connected to my Consult port via USB cable. There aren't very many apps that support Consult; Nissan Data Scan was pretty much the best Consult app out there. That was until I discovered RealDash. I get the same data as I would with Nissan Data Scan, but I get more display options and the graphics are incredible! Also, the one thing RealDash has that Nissan Data Scan doesn't is the gear indicator. All it took was to input my vehicle's gear ratios; it blew my mind! I'm looking forward to learning more about this app's intricacies. It can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. I would definitely recommend this app to my fellow classic Nissan owners.
5 ★By far the best app to connect with the car by a long shot! the only negative thing i can think of is that i didnt know about this sooner saving me messing around with usb connections on alternative apps. the team are amazing too! if you have a problem, dont uninstall leaving a nad comment, just email them and they help you more than you could hope for! ive never left a review for any app in all my years of having android but i just had to share the fact that this is amazing!
3 ★Good, but frustrating for DIY projects, mainly due to lack of good documentation or examples. Ive updated my review based on experience. The concept is great and the dashboards beautiful. Just what I need. Unfortunately, the documentation and support however are not so great. I'm using RealDash CAN, and whilst the target ids are listed, there is no information on what the valid units are for each, just a handful of examples. I was trying to get this to work on an Odroid C2 board running Marshmallow (listed as compatible in Google Play) through either serial or Bluetooth. Neither would even connect through RealDash despite the connection working absolutely fine via Android terminal apps. I wrote a long request for support via the website and uploaded serial log but got no reply. I eventually got it to work via LAN/IP, but I really preferred to use Serial/BT. Speed indicator: I finally got it working after wasting a lot of time and finding and changing a setting that means that it defaults to using GPS, even when the data is provided in the CAN stream. Why? This should be made clearer in the documentation.
1 ★ads every time you try to configure the settings kick you out of the configuration so you have to start over... to annoying to get up and running so no point in keeping it installed and zero chance of converting this into a purchase. I only wish there was a way to give 0 stars. Suggesting that purchasing the lame app is the only way to test it is not a solution. Is -1 starts an option?
2 ★non intuitive interface, and no available user manual or instructions online. I am unable to use the music player and unable to find any information on how to. The same is true for navigation, and all the various settings that I can change specific to my car, like drag coefficient. Where the hell am I supposed to find out the drag coefficient for my car? But more important, how do I tell the stupid software where my music files are located? Very frustrating but obviously powerful.
5 ★Great app. Happy with it so far, however my car is making a bit over 2 bars of boost. Only one of the dashboards is showing boost presure in Bars and its until 1.5 - so no good. Most of the other dashes are showing it in PSI. I dont know how to change it to Bars, nor do I know the values that need to be added. I am using Maxxecu for reference. UPDATE: Yes, I changed it succesfully to Bars. Thanks for the reply. Bought the full version. Very satisfied.
3 ★While I will admit, the graphics are superb and it works great even in my 98 gmc using bluetooth obd2, the full covering nag screen which surprising pops up out of nowhere while you are driving can get someone killed. Some of us use these type displays as our only dash. Original and custom, mine is so installed that i do not even have a way to reach the lcd without parting my dash. Developers should rethink this idea, there has to be other ways. Perhaps even separating a "fun" version from a serious version. Especially since much of the setup makes u feel like you are only using a game. I began to question if i was about to play 'need for speed' or use a "real" dash.I will be paying for the full version, but be warned if you use the trial as I did. Is the developer Mads Ager ? If so props to u man
2 ★looks good, spent ages making a custom board to find that save does not work. tried for ages to save, closed ap reopened and was all was gone. does not say buying app will give me option to save. just does not work, all access is allowed. can search through phone using load, and has saved my profile data. has location / no data at top of screen and new and save at bottom hit new, name my save and doesn't save anywhere I can find using load
5 ★5 star app, period. Dev helped me with several issues on the windows version, this is the best thing for streamers and youtubers doing driving sims, run it on another computer with the data multicast, capture it, profit. Way, way better than a dinky little pedal display, and doesn't move around like your in game dash does, and it looks killer on a wheel mounted device like a fanatec wheel with your last ten unused phone.
5 ★Thanks to RealDash team for the quick offer to help. app seems quite confusing and hard to edit at 1st when creating your own dash design, but if you go in the edit options and pay close attention to the gauges you'll see it is rather SUPER EASY to create your own design. Thanks you for recommending use of a image editor. as for connection to my custom ecu was a 30min job. if any issues using the app best contact RealDash for help 1st. last it works Great!!! Thanks Napko
