Description

You can securely access your organization's wireless network after easy configuration using the SecureW2 JoinNow app. JoinNow only needs to be run once, then you'll be able to connect to your organization's secure Wi-Fi network.

How does it work? There are two steps that occur when you do the one-time setup:

The app will automatically download your organization's Wi-fi configuration settings and install them on your device.

Your device will connect to the network through a secure, encrypted connection.

From there on, you don't need to do anything beyond leaving JoinNow on your device. You'll be able to effortlessly connect to your network.

Please note:

Deleting the app (or deactivating it through an "app sleep" feature, as seen on Samsung devices) will remove the Wi-Fi configuration settings, interrupting your Wi-Fi connection.

Google's Android device policy is the reason why you are required to set a screen PIN lock once your device is configured for connection to secure wireless networks. This is not a SecureW2 JoinNow policy. Your screen PIN lock must be enabled, otherwise you may experience issues with connectivity.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Sort of works. The update recently made it so none of my websites work though. Even the school website while I'm at school connected to their wifi via this app. It connects most of the time but ever since the update, I either cant tell, cant connect, or can connect and most websites dont work. Dont block websites via the app like high school
1 ★Terrible app. I have tried to sign in so many times and it leaves me at the "connecting" screen after I used my credentials. I tried using my phone, tablet, and PC. Nothing works. This app is so bad I had to start using my phones hotspot just to connect online.
1 ★It's actually so bad. It constantly disconnects me from the wifi saying that I'm out reach for service when I haven't moved and whenever I try to sign my username and password it says it's invalid. This app needs to be fixed and improved because right now it's making submitting hw a lot harder than it should be.
1 ★Even as i write this review the app is forcing me off and on to the network. It requires sign in every time it does this and rarely works well. Overall the app if very buggy and needs some serious work. Unfortunately it is the only way to use campus WiFi. 2 thumbs way way down.
1 ★Why should I need an app to connect to wireless? This is probably just gonna consume my battery and limited memory. Also my institutional login for this app looks like a fake login page. This teaches users bad security habits. People are gonna get fooled by fake login pages to steal their password after being taught by this app that it's okay to enter you credentials on any page.
2 ★Akward interface with very unclear directions and permission requests that don't match the description.
2 ★Worked for a while year and then just stopped working. I've tried going through all of the steps multiple times but it won't connect to eduroam. Didn't have problems before this though.
1 ★It's really bad. The app works when it wants to, when you are connected the wifi cuts out sometimes, and no matter how many times I put my ACE account in it says the information is incorrect even though I know it's not because I use it everyday.
1 ★Now it takes 30min to connect to uni network. This is how you get people tricked into fake wifi, forcing them to constantly have to reconnect and go through this lengthy process, after the n-times people don't pay as much attention to what wifi they connect to and just hope that they can finally get internet.
3 ★I'm indifferent. The app doesn't work for me, but I'm not sure if that's the app's fault, or my organization's. what I am annoyed about are apps which have one name in the store and a different name in the launcher, under the icon. when something installs automatically from a web page and gets identified as "SecureW2", I would expect it to be called that. Really annoyed having to hunt for an app which has a different name and a different icon. Feels dishonest.
1 ★Horrible! Keeps booting me off the internet, then o have to keep re-sending my credentials. Not to mention the excess data downloaded every time I have to connect and every time I unknowingly access the internet thinking I'm connected through wireless. 🙄
1 ★why do I need an app to connect to wifi. it takes forever (literally, I've just tried to connect for 30minutes w/o success). it never remembers any of my credentials, so that I have to reenter them even when I connect twice in the same building within 10 minutes.
