4 ★This app works well for making CYOAs. The system of choices uses "tags" to allow or restrict choices, although you can't restrict a choice to when a player doesn't have a tag. New tags don't save when leaving the scene editing screen, unless you create a new "text" or "choice" element before leaving the screen (possibly other elements as well). If I were to suggest a feature, it would be to add statistics for the player. All in all, great app, works well, keep up the good work!
5 ★Great concept so far. As a few others have said it's a bit confusing in the beginning. That's to be expected with anything new. It's like riding a bike, over time you get better. I find this much easier than using vs code an making it from scratch. I'm crappy when it comes to coding. Only thing I keep having issues with is when my text I'm typing runs to long and it always hides behind my keyboard. Even if I scroll to the point I'm typing at it instantly jumps back to the top an hiding input.
5 ★Great app with great potential. I had to do some experimentation to figure out some issues. I thought my first scene was replaced, because every time I went back to read it would be on scene 4-5. I realized that when you select read, it continues where you left off. It should start from scene 1 from read to prevent confusion, with another option to jump to specific scenes for troubleshooting.
5 ★Not only a fantastic idea for an app, but the execution is mostly fantastic too. Any issues you do have, the creators are more than happy to sort out any issues for you or process bug reports. Annoying, yes, but bugs are a normal thing when dealing with an app this specialist and, for a very small indie team, you gotta give them credit for what they've achieved already. It's definitely a work in progress, but what works, works and there really is nothing else like this on the app store. A+!
5 ★let me just tell you right now... it will be very, VERY confusing at first. but thats what happens when you have games like this, they can go in all sorts of directions and spiral into different ending, much like TWD or Detroit Become Human. once you get used to what goes where and how to make this choice impact the future its really great. i really reccomend this.
5 ★Definitely a good app, the best 'CYOA' maker I've come across for mobile. Glad to see the tutorial improvements I've suggested to you implemented. I'm disappointed that the tutorial to use RNG has yet to be added in the latest update, but I'm patient. Overall, this has a lot of potential, and it's clear the developer actually cares about the app, and user input.
4 ★Pretty good so far, only complaint is that when I demo my story the music doesn't stop unless I exit the app. Even when I leave the demo mode and re-enter it will have the audio playing over itself. Edit: I really do enjoy this app, it works rather well. I do have one suggestion, perhaps when you are choosing your character state, it shows what you titled it? That way you can easily tell which state you're selecting.
3 ★Ummm... the idea is good. Its what I have searched for for years after being indulged in CYOA games. I gave three stars because of its interface. The Interface isnt that much nice and when the scene is too long, It overlaps with the choices. That cause me to make a choice 'Continue' every part. so please, fix that part. Also, I cant log in. Or maybe. I cant sign up?
4 ★Though I think It's amazing, there are a few bugs that need to be fixed. One of them is the fact that I cannot scroll down when I am in the library and I'm finding a story to read. I can't get past the Public Stories BETA. The other one is when I tried to make a new character, the screen turns grey and I have to go back and press the new character button again, then it works. Other than that, this is great!
4 ★Honestly, it's a great app. Something I feel it needs, however, is the ability to browse through stories on the net and/or download them for offline reads. I don't really know if you have that or not already, but I couldnt find it myself so if it is already there, i guess make it easier to access? everything aside, its awesome.
3 ★My project disappeared! I've loved this app so far, though (maybe cause I had a different bg for each screen of text) it sometimes crashes when loading different scenes to edit, and it's slow to load my WIP on the main page when I log in (at first only showing me the option to create a new one). My work was always saved so nothing was lost each time, but just today I can't see it at all. Please tell me it can be restored, I hadn't backed it up on my end!
4 ★App is amazing, but it lags on my phone. Whenever I add something to the story I am making, the app seems to stop and the rest of its screen will just turn out white. I'm using an android 7 phone. Please fix these issues. This app shows promise. Will download it again if the problems are fixed, and will change the rating to 5 if it will work well on my phone.
