淨土文介紹:
小淨土文為宋朝慈雲懺主遵式法師所作。遵式法師字知白，俗家姓葉，浙江寧海人，母親王氏，乞觀音而生，從小就隨母持念觀音聖號。稍長依天台東掖山義全和尚出家，受具足戒後，初學律宗，繼學天台，弘法各處，後住天竺寺撰寫淨土懺、金光明三昧懺儀等，以師所撰懺儀甚多，世稱百本懺主。領眾懺講不絕，德聞於朝，宋真宗乾興二年，賜號慈雲，人稱慈雲懺主。明道元年間示寂，住世六十九載。
依叢林規矩，繞佛後，三稱三菩薩名號，及回向發願文，都是跪唱的，邊唱邊觀想，所以，又叫「觀文」。現在，或許是人少的緣故，大多敲木魚直念，念時須至誠恭敬，方得受益。
