People can search the location of all Common Service centers run by TACTV and also know the details of services offered in Common Service centers.Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited (TACTV) was incorporated on 04.10.2007 vide GO (Ms) No.22, Information Technology Department, dated 13.08.2007 with the objective of providing high quality Cable TV Signals to the public at an affordable cost. The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after assuming office in May 2011, revived and revamped TACTV and inaugurated the Cable TV Services for Tamil Nadu (Except Chennai) on 02.09.2011 and for Chennai Metro Area on 20.10.2012. At present TACTV is transmitting Free-to-Air Channels, Pay Channels and Private Local Channels.
Arasu e-Sevai Centres
The Honourable Minister for Information Technology made an announcement on the floor of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on 04.08.2014 that TACTV Corporation Ltd will establish and run Common Service Centres (CSCs) in the Districts.
In order to implement the announcement made by the Honourable Minister for Information Technology, TACTV has established and launched 339 Arasu e-Sevai Centres across the State and one Mobile e-Sevai Centre for Aadhaar services. TACTV has established one Arase e-Sevai Centre in the Secretariat, Chennai; one each in all 264 Taluks; one in the Headquarters of Chennai Corporation; 15 Zonal offices of Chennai Corporation; 54 Division offices of Chennai Corporation; Regional Passport offices of Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Tiruchirappalli.
A dedicated Call Centre with a Toll Free Number 1800 425 2911 has been established in the TACTV’s Nungambakkam office for addressing grievances.
