2 ★A great concept but riddled with errors and failures. My app works as expected maybe about 40 percent of time. The rest is spent restarting getting errors and being told the cloud can't be reached or that the camera is busy. Not a system for someone who needs a serious solution.
5 ★I had ADT for many years. Over $90 a month and really just home monitoring without cameras. I dumped that service and got Blink. Waaaaaay better. More capabilities. Easier warranty. And most of all only a one time payment for their best services of $100 a year. If you've had security systems over the years then you'll see the benefit. I save over $1000 a year. And I can keep adding cameras as I want. Can't beat it for the price and tech.
1 ★I keep needing to uninstall and reinstall the app. The screen goes blank, it fails to detect motion no matter what the sensitivity setting, it crashes, and I get very late (sometimes 15 minutes later) notifications when motion is detected which resulted in someone breaking into my garage and stealing a number of items. This is not the camera system to get if you want true security
2 ★Quirky, constant "live view failed" issues. The "Continue?" Pop-up during live views is a problem and a nuisance. When I am finished viewing, I'll close the live feed. This needs to be removed or offer a "do not ask again" option. I'd prefer complete removal or disable option.
5 ★Going threw 2 sets of batteries a week on one camera. Half the time it don't work. UPDATE: I did reach out to the Blink Team. They checked my camera and system to find there was a problem with the one camera. In less than a week I had a brand new camera and it's working great. The professionalism and speed in correcting my issue was truly amazing. I give them a 5 and well deserved. Thank you Blink Team!
1 ★This app is so glitchy! Which isn't great for security ESPECIALLY when you're paying for the yearly membership! I feel like it got worse once I started paying which definitely shouldn't be the case. If things don't get smoothed out by the time my year is up I'm finding something else. Also issues with cameras being triggered even in deactivated zones. Delays in triggering the cameras. Sometimes not receiving notifications of a recording.
1 ★This thing is straight garbage now. Records randomly like a fly, but can't record people walking up the door or cars going in and leaving the driveway. Got some new ones for prime day thinking it'll be better. Just going to return this garbage. U know its straight junk when they get Amazon to block reviews. Great job blink!
5 ★It has a few second delay but I'm able to watch on my phone through the app. The only feature I need is to see a live feed. If that stops working after the trial then I'll contact Amazon. It doesn't say in their terms of service that you lose the ability to view a live feed, only cloud and other features. There's also a usb sold to record to a computer and now I have to wait to see if this works after 30 days.
3 ★Used to be able to see a preview of video clips saved to local storage.. an update came out a few weeks ago that took that away.. as well as the ability to manage content on your device. Can't even delete stuff now without clicking on each video. Make blink great again!
2 ★What did the last app update do to my system?? EVER SINCE THE 6/14/21 APP UPDATE I HAVE HAD CONSTANT ISSUES. Delayed (sometimes more than 15 minutes) notifications and clips. Or no clip at all when I KNOW someone went past a camera. Live view takes forever to load or won't load at all. Takes a ridiculously long time to view a clip when it does load. I have depended on this system for almost 2 years. Now I feel like I can't ever trust that it is working correctly. Very disappointed.
1 ★This App sucks! It is constantly crashing, says live view not available all the time, or says live view in progress when there is no one else logged in! It has been even worse since I added a 2nd Camera! I regret the money I have wasted on this system!
1 ★Doesn't work at all. Either get "Error 503: Unable to reach Blink cloud. Please try again later." or, "Blink Camera, Unauthorized Access." Can't even log in now. Truly disappointed.
