Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

5 ★The original hub had a great feature were it would let you know if the power or internet was cut off immediately. The new hub lets you know if internet is down after a while. It provided an extra layer of security
5 ★Truly useful and easy-to-use product (Iris' Digital Light Switch)! :) ... I use year-round ~ programmable Christmas Tree lighting during December, and for my Family Room lamp-lighting the rest of the year! Thank you, Iris!
5 ★Fantastic app/set up. Enjoying it very much, along with it being 0retty easy to use and being as straight forward the user pane is. Have thought about upgrading my service to professional security and see how well that handles.
4 ★I love to use it because Its great security for s low cost. But sometimes the devices loose connection and when you're away from your home you can't connect them back unless you're physically there.
3 ★Poor connection I have had a smart switch for about a year today i decided to add another one and the app will not pair the new smart switch. I spent 35 minutes on the phone with customer service and they walked me through the steps I had already taken. Their only comment was it sometimes can take a while to connect. I have attempted to pair the new device all afternoon and was never successful. update finally gotnit to work had to use a diffet phome to pair it wouls kot pair with Pixel II XL.
4 ★I like the product. But when viewing the app lights and switches, when the switch is on the "off" button is illuminated. That is opposite from what I expected.
1 ★Login, pairing, crashes, all problematic. Please hire one of the aftermarket 3rd party app builders they are making it work. I was going to take the switch back but the aftermarket app fixed it. Lowe's save your reputation get one of these guys in the 3rd party to fix Iris.
2 ★Works, kinda. Setup is cumbersome, app is not intuitive, maintenance is awful. Unless you're all-in with Iris, there are much better products our they're that achieve the same thing.
5 ★Great setup, sad to see it go. Iris was one of a kind - home automation and monitored home security system in one. Was super useful and a great intro into the home automation world for me. Thank you for your hard work devs!
3 ★i really liked the app they shut down the web site March 31,2019.A year ago I bought the hub, motion sensor and 2 receptacle plugs(that activated my plug in light fixtures from my phone). The cost was a hair over $200,Iris by Lowes sent me a rewards card for $100.
3 ★Overall it's so close to being where it needs to be. The team seems to be responsive. Hopefully with a new buyer to development to the next level, it will be the Iris it always could be.
4 ★Like the app. Just as little tricky to navigate at the beginning. Pertaining to rules and scenes. It would be nice to create new from the edit windows.
