4 ★The app is pretty fast and easy to navigate. The shoe photos are great. Reason I removed one star is because photos in the get social section or in reviews have no option to click or zoom, so that sucks. Everything else is great, also love the option of paying from your phone at the store and being able to scan the code on the box to look for the shoe online which helps to read description and more.
5 ★Easy to use and very detailed with the products. You can checkout as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, it will keep your info for secure checkout with Pay Pal, Venmo or your personal banking info. Easy to apply the discounts and get the total payment. If you make an error, easy to go back. Can remove an item to your favorite list or put it in your cart from the favorite list easily too. Love the app!
2 ★I like how it works, but somewhere there is a glitch! I am having an issue with shipping EVERY SINGLE TIME I order. Eventhough it displays the correct address on my account and in the shipping line when ordering, everything gets sent to an address from 4+ years ago. DSW can not explain why this keeps happening and even when they tried to resend items it again still went to this old address. It is EXTREMELY frustrating!
4 ★Great app with a few minor snags. It rarely freezes, but sometimes with big search results, the pages blink or jump. The biggest drawback is that you can't enlarge pics to look at details the way you can on the web, at least not on my LG ThinQ. It keeps track of discounts well, has decent search features, but it can be hard to get back to the home screen to see what the specials are or to get the discount code. In a filtered search, the home button disappears. Overall, I like the app.
3 ★(~10/28) DSW doesn't work on anything I own. Apps are buggy, can't even get to the payment screen. Please fix! *(~11/11) I can get into the apps, add to my cart + favorites, I can order but slowed down by bill/ship info. For some reason it won't accept my address that's both linked to my account & card on file. To purchase I need to add a new address even if it's the same one that was linked. It only works the one time, if you wanted to order more you would need to keep adding a 'new' address.
3 ★I love the ease of the app, for the most part, but there are glitches that need to be fixed. 1. when choosing shoe color it doesn't update to show the shoe in new color, I have to go back and try again in the hopes that it refreshes, which most of the time it doesn't. 2. there is serious lag time when choosing the style or other filters, once filters applied, the screen jumps and I end up pressing something I didn't mean to press. 3. give an option to cancel an order.
4 ★Overall, this is a decent shopping app. Plenty of retailers neglect to update or even just create a user-friendly interface and I think DSW does a decent job maintaining both of those things; however, there is one crucial aspect missing here and that's the ability to ZOOM! Please, I'm begging the next feature to come along will be a zoom feature. Or at bare minimum, just the ability to open a larger version of the product image. If we could see the full size review photos, that'd be even better.
2 ★Very bad design choices, it makes it quite a frustrating shopping experience. You can NOT see a larger image of the shoes when you try to click on the image, all you get is a still unclickable, unexpanding tiny image, I kept having to take a screenshot then proceed to expanding the image in my screenshot gallery to see what I was about to purchase. Also the back arrow at the top in the app should take you back to you search page, instead it takes you all the way back, to start all over again.
4 ★really easy to look through everything, I like getting emails with offers and seeing what coupons are available to me. I'm a member, and the points system is totally screwed up even though I called in. be careful with the back button. Also the pick up in 4 hours in store feature does not work, don't try it. I like that you can put items in your favorites, for something you're not sure about or waiting to get a discount. I wish there was a way to get notified if your favorites go on discount.
3 ★I shop on this app more than I shld. Unfortunately, it 'times out' frequently and/or it can't load the basket. If I have maxed my favorites saved, that's usually the end of my browsing for the day because it just wont load anything after that. I've missed a few big deals and orders due to this which is very irritating but then I think of the $ I saved lol. But it is disappointing to have wasted time and excitement of one less thing to buy for the school year only to have it not process.
3 ★this app has a serious glitch in that it "forgets" me and I have to re-login. my favorites and bag will suddenly be empty, so I sign out and sign back in. there also seems to be a reordering that happens during a browse. I've gotten used to it. otherwise, I like that it's fairly streamlined and intuitive. Update: I had to try dozens of times to check out on my last purchase. Numerous error messages and indications I forgot info that was clearly entered.
1 ★Very slow with lots of glitches. It often took more than five tries before it would add items to my bag. I had to restart the app three times during the process of purchasing a pair of shoes due to glitching. It would not allow me to pay with my chosen payment method, even though it is an offered option. I was eventually able to pay using a different method. What should have taken 3 minutes tops took over 15 minutes to purchase.
