Description
The aim of the APP is to simplify the management of your own contacts. LD Contacts Light is ad-free!Additions to the contacts, such as additional information, date-related notes and planned appointments can be recorded in the APP.
All information collected with the APP is only stored internally within the APP. There is no connection to the internet!
The advantage of the app is that I can manage my own groups in categories and thus map a "and / or" link between groups and contacts.
All information about a contact can be clearly printed out on a contact sheet.
Furthermore, a distribution list for SMS or emails for a selected number of contacts (group filter) can be generated and automatically transferred to the SMS or email program of Android.
At the contact level, a direct call is also possible to locally stored phone numbers (preferred number can be defined)
In the settings, the display can be adapted to your own needs, e.g. colors, font sizes and technical settings.
The following rights are required:
- Read rights to the Android contact database
- Write access to the external memory (used to store the contact sheet, data backup and reports).
The APP does not change any external data and can therefore be used without risk.
You can export the data of the APP at any time, e.g. to transfer it to a PC. This was one of the reasons for developing this APP.
The export can be done as an SQL script (can be imported into MySQL, PostgreSQL, ...) or via CSV files (Excel).
The following restrictions apply to the light version:
- the group assignments are on 40 and
- the info data records are limited to 40.
- The number of log and appointment entries is also limited to 40.
- The transfer of the contact appointments to the standard calendar cannot be activated
- The import of the SQL scripts is not possible here.
Note:
To switch to the full version “LD Contacts”, you only need to export SQL data from this version beforehand. When the full version is started, this data is automatically adopted. The light version can then be uninstalled at any time.
