匈牙利《新导报》创建于2000年4月， 周刊，星期三出版，免费发行于匈牙利及周边各国，每期44至52版。其宗旨是为当地华人提供新闻资讯、旅游、休闲、时尚、娱乐信息等全方位资讯。其以大量的本地侨界新闻、大量的本地政经、社会新闻，活泼轻松的版式和精美的图片，在本地拥有绝大多数的读者群以及影响力。《新导报》是匈牙利当地唯一一家经常参与采访国家及政府各种事件亚洲（裔）媒体，与匈牙利总统府、总理办公室、外交部、文化部、经济部、国家警察局、记者协会等机构的新闻部门有着良好关系，经常参与各种采访活动，向华人传递匈牙利的政治、经济、文化、社会动态。
《新导报》积极组织和参与中匈文化交流活动、侨界公益活动。在倡议纪念“9.18事件”、组织中医师义诊、主办中国新年艺术节等活动中，不但大力度地予以宣传，还义务提供了许多其他工作；主办、倡导、参与各种有利于华侨工作生活的公益活动。
