Permissions:
Storage and Photos/Media/Files Permission – Only used to see your saved Text To Speech files as well as play and delete them.
Other, Modify system settings Permission – Only ever used to set your selected Text To Speech file as a ringtone, notification or alarm sound.

How to install Tell Me - Text To Speech APK on Android phone or tablet?

5 ★I was lucky to find the exact app I was looking for. I have laryngitis and I talk a lot during the course of my job. This is exactly what I was looking for an app that speaks what I type with the option to add preset phrases for it to speak. You should really market this towards people who can't speak. Thanks again for making such a simple app with no annoying ads.
5 ★This app has helped me so so so much, i go through random phases of being mute which can either last a day or three months, (im not sure the reason but it has happened for a year or two now) and when i found this app it was like a miracle, so from me personally to the creator(s) thank you, thank you for creating an amazing tool that will help me, and many many others out there.
1 ★It's pretty good, but it could at least not be so specific, like when I put " w-where?" Or "~" it just said it like it's supposed to be read out loud in a story, ya don't hear people saying that while reading, just opinion, so far it's good, but I tried making a file, but it said put a tittle for it, and I did but it kept telling me it even tho I already have an tittle for it.

3 ★This used to be a great app but since the update, it seems that i can no longer see the audios that i saved unless i restarted my phone which is kinda annoying. Pls fix it and i will definitely rate 5😊
5 ★This is an amazing app! I used it to communicate while I lost my voice, and it worked perfectly. I love the clear function; it is very convenient for quick, short messages. The voice is between robotic and human, and even has a little sass to it. It even minds punctuation!
5 ★This app is amazing! Being on major Vocal Rest, no talking at all, it has helped me get my family's attention and "talk" easily. It's especially helpful for my little one who can't read what I type. I love how the app works and is set up. I especially love the preset texts! Thank you for making a great app to fill this need!🙂
5 ★Fantastic! It alowed me to communicate with my kids when I lost my voice. At 6, 6 and 4, the older ones can read a little but not easily enough for me to just write everything down. Honestly, this saved my sanity. Only issue we had was the accent. We're australian, so the kids had a hard time figuring out some of the words in the US accent. I just had to adjust the spelling to try getting it to sound right.
3 ★I love this app and just found the voice change ability. I see from your description that you have fixed many issues already, however I would just want to add that there desperately needs to be a pause button. The app reads well, but please put in a pause button. Also on a serious note is there a way to nake the voice sound like it is singing? (I don't want to make funny videos I seriously listen better to sining sometimes, not always, could there be a button for this option?)
5 ★I have had many craniofacial surgeries and it has severely limited my ability to speak. Due to pain, I sometimes cannot speak at all. Other times I can speak ok, but it's maybe a little difficult to understand. This voice is so pleasant, and everyone can understand! Thank you! My only request: please allow us to save phrases we use all the time. Like "I love you" or "How are you?" Etc. Thank you for making the voice so u understandable and easy to use!
5 ★This app is just what I was looking for! After larynx surgery and complete voice rest a couple of times lately, I've gotten frustrated with texting to my husband who is just across the room from me. With Tell Me I feel like I'm part of a conversation and can better make myself understood. I can even use it to talk to Alexa! It's easy to use, my only ask would be (and it may already be available and I don't know how to do it) a way to save the voice settings. Thank you for this!
5 ★This app has been very very helpful these past few days, as I have been unable to talk due to a terrible sore throat. Instead of trying to gesture and hoping people will understand me, I can now use this and be perfectly clear. Five stars for great design, accessibility, and usefulness.
