Description
The Red Phone is a basic SIP soft phone application.One of our hobbies at Little Bytes of Pi is VOIP telephony. We use a Raspberry Pi and the open source Asterisk telephone server software to get free home phone service, and we wanted to build a SIP client application to go with it.
The Red Phone is built with the popular Linphone open source software. It has only a few modifications:
- It is painted red to match the colour scheme of our Raspberry Pi
- It only has phone functions; the video and chat features in the Linphone core are hidden.
- You can setup a 'Red Phone Number' to get one button dialing and auto answer from your most important contact.

How to install The Red Phone APK on Android phone or tablet?
