Overview
iVMS-4500 (Android) mobile client software, which is designed for mobile phone on the basis of Android OS (Version 4.0 or higher), can be used to remotely monitor the live video from embedded DVR, NVR, network camera, network speed dome and encoder via wireless network, play back record files, locally store and manage pictures and videos, control alarm output and realize PTZ control as well.
With this software installed in your phone, you are able to log onto the front-end device via Wi-Fi or 3G; besides, if there is no public IP available for the device, it’s accessible by using a dynamic domain name, or by mapping ports to the public IP of router.
Notes:
1.Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G access service must be supported by the phone.
2.Network traffic charges may be produced during the use of this client software. Please refer to the local ISP.

1 ★Useless. One day it works and the next it doesn't. What is the point in having the cameras if they're offline. Any decent alternative??

5 ★This app works without issue if all of the required criteria are met. It's for Professional CCTV systems, installed and configured by Professionals. If you're the type of idiot that expects software and hardware to “just work automagically”, no doubt ewe are wearing a mask, screaming “I can't 52, it's all China's fault”.

2 ★It's very limited. When viewing playback, you can't fast forward or reverse the videos and you have no access to edit the NVR or camera settings through this app. Not impressed at all!

1 ★The new version is really bad , everything is slow and many times you lose connection. Please go back to old version or fix all the bugs in the new one. It's absolutely useless.

1 ★Online viewing is an on and off experience. More off than on. Hasn't worked more than a day at a time the past six months. Sad. Disappointing. Cheaper products work better than this one for remote viewing. It's not my settings.

1 ★Very bad experience, Seldom works, usually takes loading, and loading, and loading... Fortunately i didn't delete my old app version, which is working good than new version..

1 ★The old versions of the app were great. All the newer versions have a glitch in the software that makes the recaptcha cycle forever. You enter the code - it says the code is wrong (although its not wrong) and then it gives you another code and the cycle is endless. Customer service is horrible and the end result is you can't view the cameras remotely ever and you get frustrated. I've lost hope on this software - no remote access over a year now. Multiple brands work; only HK Vision doesn't work.

1 ★Horrible The old app was much more user friendly this app is most disappointing. Cant view cameras and when it does work it only works for a few minutes.

2 ★I have been using this app for the past 3 years on an older phone which worked perfectly. Then I tested it on iPhonex as well it took just as long.I use to prefer this app but it seems like the cameras are now taking forever to load.

1 ★As a Technician, The new version not functioning properly it seems we cannot zoom in/out, tablet mode not user friendly. Whenever open it ask verification code. Better fix as HIKCONNECT Application. If not we're move to other brand.

1 ★Just awful. Not intuitive. Nothing makes sense without seriously digging around to figure out the cryptic bs of logging in to remotely view the camera system. Just plain bad.

1 ★The app doesn't have any exit option instead it has logout where I mistakenly put once and has to reconfigure everything. Also no many features like other DVR platforms.
