Description

Jabra SUPREME, Jabra MOTION (together with their UC variants), Jabra STONE3, Jabra EXTREME2 and Jabra STEALTH UC headsets come with a free Jabra CONNECT smartphone app, which is loaded with features that will let you customize your experience to suit your preferences as well as control your call on multiple devices from within the application. The application interacts actively with your STEALTH UC, SUPREME, MOTION, STONE3 and EXTREME2 headsets giving you access to additional premium features.
By installing the Jabra CONNECT application your smartphone can act as a control centre for the devices you have connected to your headset. In that way you can control calls from PC softphone or smartphones from the application.
Furthermore the application lets you choose between three different profiles, to make sure you have the perfect sound settings based on where you are in your office, outdoors or in your car. The smooth, intuitive visual interface of the app lets you see how much battery you have left on your headset in your smartphone display to alert you when it is time to recharge. Using this app, you can even record audio notes, save them on your app and share them via email or other installed application capable of accepting files. A new feature called Find my Jabra can help you locating a lost headset. When enabled, it will store the position of where your headset has been used last and display it on a map. In case the headset is still connected, use Find my Jabra to send a Beacon tone to the headset to locate it by ear.

1 ★This app leaves a permanent icon in your notification area, even after closing the app, even after stopping it with a task killer. There is no setting or documentation for this icon. That alone made me uninstall it. There a are very few useful features included with the app. The app itself looks great but doesn't do much. The included "manuals," a whole section of the app, only document how to connect headsets, not how to use any of the features on the headset or on the app.

1 ★I have been using this for 3yrs now, and after recent updates, the bluetooth pairing happens, but this app doesn't show as paired. Fix it pls!!!

3 ★Please get rid of J icon to left corner developer. Plantronics don't have this. You have been asked several times. Thanks

4 ★Is completely unneeded for this app to stay active all the time even when the bluetooth is not connected. The stealth is a great headset, but is greatly hampered by this app which refuses to go away. Tip for those to keep the app, just disable the notification from the app manager and it goes away. Doesn't mean is not active. The locator is awesome, and perhaps is greatly accurate from the competition out there. Perhaps this the app only salvation, other than telling you the battery level.

2 ★I'm very disappointed about this extreme 2, I thought it is an upgrade of jabra classic but it turns out NOT No actual control of noise cancelling and voice calls are not as loud and clear as the jabra classic. I tried the outdoor mode when im outside, car mode when im in car and the office mode which I often use because the 1st 2 mode are useless. I'm still hoping this app would help in the future to help me hear voice calls loud and clear.

3 ★Been using the app with a Jabra Motion. Please separate the voice answering and ignoring commands, from voice dial and battery status reports. I really need the latter 2, while I want to disable voice call accept and hang up, since my ringtone always triggers the call reject command!
