2 ★Used to be 5 stars but for a month now distance tracking is not working properly anymore. My routes haven't changed, my phone hasn't changed, my headphones haven't changed and distance tracking still works just fine on any other app. Very annoying as now I have to enter all my data manually and do not have the heart rate information (a big reason why I bought these).
1 ★No matter what, the app will NOT connect to the phone (Elite Sport / Moto G5+). All instructions, support, and user suggestions tried and followed to the point. Without the app it is NOT even possible to alter any of the settings on the earplugs - let alone using the sport features! I am very, very frustrated and disappointed by now! Regretting buying this headset so much already. What an awful waste of a bunch of money!
2 ★I liked this App at First... I used this app frequently when cycling, it was good at getting me data as I ride abd was fairly accurate, until recently. As of 4-18-2019, the app has produced inconsistent GPS Tracking. This results in the app recording fewer miles than I actually rode. I've dropped this as my go to app for now.
4 ★Fix :ensure the Jabra apps are allowed to run in the background. On my Sony xz premium it was in the apps & notifications/app info /Jabra sport /battery /power saving feature. There is probably an easier way to get to the power saving exceptions but that's how I got there. I then restarted the phone and reconnected with success.
3 ★Stuggling to connect to Elite Sport headphones. It took a bit of time the first few times, once the Bluetooth connection had established. Now they won't connect at all. I clearly have them connected to Bluetooth as I am listening to music but the app won't connect or cannot detect them. Therefore the app is now useless. I have tried to reset the connection using 'first startup' again but no joy. The app could also be improved with a generic exercise option which just tracks your heart rate.
1 ★Buggy app. It only paired with my Jabra Elite Sports once, when I first set it up. After that, the app never recognized my earbuds albeit they were connected on my phone (Huawei P20), can play sounds, and is not in Power Saving mode. As a result, I am unable to use the additional features that are supposedly offered by the Jabra Elite Sport, such as the VO2 Max and Heartrate. I would gladly change my review to 5 stars if this issue is addressed by the developer.
5 ★FIX: If you can't connect to the app, go to battery setting and allow secondary apps, autolaunch, and the app to run in the background. EVEN IF it's already checked uncheck it THEN recheck it then return to the app. It will then ask if you want to allow the device to use your GPS, allow it and Wala.
2 ★I noticed the music equalizer is distorted once you try to adjust it to your desired sound. The dots and the line are completely seperated. It was not this way until the last update. Not sure what's going on. Also once adjusted the left ear bud makes a crackling sound. Please adress this problem. Any solution would be greatly appreciated.
1 ★The app stops the workout without notification. Twice I have taken the VO2max test where it ended by saying "test cancelled" without a reason why. Now the test has finally worked, but when I use regular workout it stops without notification. It is extremely demotivating to run 8 km and find out that it only record it as 4 and thereby say it had a low training effect. I bought the Jabra Elite Sport for workout, but it would seem they only work for listening to music.
3 ★This app has a lot of compatibility issues. it is complicated to pair. follow the next steps, worked for me and my p30 pro Enable Jabra Service to launch: Go to Settings>Battery>App Launch. Select Jabra Service. Select Manage Manually and allow the three options. Turn off the battery optimisations for the Jabra Service and Jabra life apps: Open the Android settings app. Select Battery. Tap the three dots in the top right corner. Select Battery optimisation. In the Not optimised dropdown, select All apps. Tap Jabra Service. Select Don’t optimise. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the Jabra life app.
1 ★Just doesn't work with my Huawei P20 Pro and Elite Sport earphones. The earphones pair with the phone through BT but the app just hangs at the pairing screen. Tried updating service app and this app but no joy. I think there is an issue with this set of phones and the Huawei in general as volume fades to nothing over the course of 20mins use. Everything is running latest software.
4 ★Great app with lots of features, the only thing i dislike about the app is that when running, if your phone loses location tracking then the distance doesnt keep going it halts until the location comes back. It would be awesome if it used pace/steps to keep distance updated in the untracked spots so I dont lose half the distance ran, tanking the fitness level in the app. thats all :) keep up the quality work
