A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Since 9/24/2020 this app keeps crashing when I click on the app icon. There've been 9 updates since than latest being 4/5/21 and the issue persists. [Emails have been sent as requested. Could anyone acknowledge that they were received and it is being looked at?] Update: I already tried the new version. It didn't work. I sent emails and no one is responding. I keep calling Verizon and they are opening tickets only to close them in 2 days saying the issue is resolved, however it's not.
1 ★This app is a joke. It constantly crashes out of voicemail, in which each message takes obnoxiously long to load and delete as well. It's actually faster to go through voicemail by dialing in. Aside from that, it's super slow. Want to use the in-app help? Well you have to be logged into the Wi-Fi on the Fios modem. Since the Wi-Fi coverage of my Fios router is pitiful among other shortcomings, I use my own router—making the in-app help unusable.
2 ★Attempting to log in on the day a bill is due frequently results in a "failed login" error, despite double checking the password. This has caused my bill to be late several times. App also insists on asking if I want to enroll in auto-pay every single month. Otherwise, the app is fine. I'd rate higher, but something that handles money must be reliable, and this is not.
2 ★The app has a lot of problems. It has lots of functions, but they do not work/display properly. For instance, looking at the Autopay information, the screen shows a box with a white background and light-coloured font. But the text only says XAutopay Information" without stati g what the card and date it will go through is. Then I click to update autopay information to make sure it is using the correct card and date but after I input the information, you cannot click update.
2 ★Very frustrating bc my account information (especially billing) is never up to date. But they're so excited to flag how much I owe without helping me see ahead of time so I can budget for it. And idk why this is the only company in the nation that never knows how much I will owe in the upcoming months when we have an agreement for a monthly bill. Why is this a problem. If things change, you simply send a notice and add it in. But the base expectancy should always show for the following month.
1 ★Doesn't work half the time. Constantly crashes. Using support there is a pipedream since it takes at least half an hour just to get started and the app tends to crash every 45 minutes to an hour. Since you can't get back in touch with anyone you have to start over and over again, or start trying to navigate the 6 phone number options, that they hide and start that hour long battle just to get someone.
1 ★Horrible app plan and simple! I've been a verizon fios customer for 10 years and the latest app is useless. Trying to set parental controls is impossible and the list of connected devices doesn't appear when I try to choose a schedule. Try to switch to Home network protection and doesn't work either. It's an app to control your network that doesn't really control anything!
1 ★Absolutely dreadful support from Verizon. I've been on the phone with them to ask a simple hardware compatibility question for over 2 hours. Keep trying to sell me new services I don't need instead of answering my question and keep automatically running tests on my TV and internet service which were fine before I tried to get question answered. Never had this problem before. Their system automatically assumes a problem with one system or another when I call. B careful if u call!
1 ★This app and just about EVERY encounter with Verizon is awful!! Between the need to have a million apps to access everything ( FiOS service, wireless service) and NONE of the apps working properly, I am so frustrated. Complaining to Verizon is a moot point, because you get so upset with the automated this to get to that and never getting a person, that I lose interest in even trying to troubleshoot the issue. Verizon has an awful business model all around!
1 ★It's slow as phuck, quits randomly all the time, doesn't always ask fir biometric login even though it's enabled. Pages load excruciatingly slow and sometimes gives errors. A frustrating app for sure. Just deal with the terrible, barely functioning website instead. All this money, verizon, and your apps and websites are the f'n worst.
1 ★This version (5.43x) is AWFUL . Before, I could easily view all the devices on my network with the old version -- it showed the active devices in one list and the inactive (disconnected) in a SEPARATE list. Now, the app's network list shows everything and you have to open each device to see if its active and you can only sort devices by connection strength (!!) How USELESS. Furthermore, the device list only shows 4 at a time -- I have to sort through everything with the useless title bar -- "XX TOTAL DEVICES XX ACTIVE DEVICES etc" that takes up half the screen. Whoever approved this look and feel needs to be fired. This makes it nearly impossible for me to actively monitor what my kids are turning on and off on the network. I am searching for the old version now. Avoid this one at EVERY cost.
3 ★Love my Fios connection & speed, but without purchasing any additional services, the $58+ increase in service fees to my monthly bill over the past year has me considering switching or even dropping. Didn't mind that my bill would increase $10 after the 2yr contract, but these "we couldn't reach an agreement" messages, "so now were providing even less, for $50+ more" really isn't sitting well...... (The App works, btw)..
