1 ★Completely trash, for a company as big as Dish to be running this app it is an embarrassment. App freezes every three seconds, there are times when half the channels are missing, trouble loading the app, it is just frustrating. The funny thing is that commercials run smoothly without any issues, at least we know where Dish loyalty stands. I do not recommend Dish to anyone. If I could rate zero stars I would, 1 star is way too much of a rating.
1 ★Many times I have decided against getting rid of my Dish period, but each time I have changed my mind. Now, the last couple of weeks have been absolutely terrible. I am unable to use My Dish Anywhere on my Samsung Android phone, especially my favorite MSNBC. I find this unacceptable. Now, using the pause, rewind and forward are not working properly on my TVs. I am giving this 1 week from today and I will be cutting the Dish.
1 ★Updated 06/14/20...UNINSTALLED. THEY HAVE IGNORED their customers feedback. They need to rename the app Dish Nowhere...it doesn't work in my car, at my job, at my mother's house, etc. Useless!!! The updates they made to this app make it practically unusable. It won't accurately sync to my DVR any longer and streaming shows is very choppy and at times just not possible. A perfect example of...if its not broke don't fix it. Hopefully they will do some work on the app and I'll reevaluate it then.
1 ★This new app is TERRIBLE!!!.I just got the Galaxy S10 Plus and I never should have updated it thinking it was better. Not only can I not bring up all the settings the old version had, the new app continuously crashes and wants me to reconnect until it times itself out! I cant even watch Recorded Programs until 24 Hours Later!!! Error Codes one right after the other! NOW IM STUCK WITH THIS TERD! I think after reading all the reviews it's consistently saying bring back the old version that worked!
1 ★App updated and Dish Anywhere is awful. Doesn't show what order the shows are by date, broken down by episode so you have to hunt for them. Video no longer works with Chromecast, only audio. All other programs work fine. Long delays when skipping forward in the shows. Skip forward only 30 seconds at a time, 5 seconds for it to process. Can no longer skip through all commercials at once. HORRIBLE UPDATE!!!! NOT user friendly.
1 ★HORRIBLE Dish did an major update to the old app and now is almost unusable! It doesn't buffer very well and is always pausing! You also do not have the ability to start a show from the beginning when watching a recorded show that hasn't ended yet. The windows interface is the same way. If dish updates the firestick app to work the same way I will switch carriers as this is what keeps me suscribing to dish!
1 ★The Dish anywhere app will not work on my phone. It just shows the Dish anywhere logo and will never log in, or allow me to log in using credentials. I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, reset my phone - everything. I can get it to work on my super old tablet, and it will work on my husband's phone (his is older than my phone.) Very frustrating!!!
2 ★Ever since the latest "bug fix" the app has trouble connecting to my internet. Says no connection available. I know it's not on my end. I've used this app for many years and loved it until recently. And Dish, do not send me a reply to contact you via email. Enough reviews have been posted stating the same thing I have. You don't need another email to look into the problem. Look into it already.
1 ★The most recent update to this app his horrible, the buttons to fast forward or rewind are tiny and have to hit them just right, load times once you FF 30 sec is super long and half the time when I click on a show to watch in the DVR or Prime Time Anytime it plays something different but works fine through the receiver on my tv. Please bring back the old version of the app or fix this one.
1 ★Terrible, doesn't work and technical support is zero help. When I had average hardware, modem, DSL etc, with the exact same devices, no different than now, pulling MB from my wifi it worked fine initially. But the app suddenly stopped working. Dish blamed my wifi system initially and said it was inadequate. I upgraded above requirements and it still plays 2 seconds buffers 2 seconds continuously. Now Dish has nothing to say, no help at all. Basically say oh well.
1 ★The app is awful. It doesnt sync with the receiver. It is fully updated but whenever I click the DVR button it shows things that haven't been there for 5 years. And none of the shows that are currently on my DVR appear. It buffers horrendously. The skipping option for commercials is not functional- due to the buffering issue, you will actually get to the show faster by watching the commercial. It is sad that they can't get this figured out.
1 ★Horrible!! I've used the app for a year now with no problems, but after the latest update, EVERY time I try to log in, I get some kind of error message. I've uninstalled, reinstalled....updated my phone & browser, but nothing changes. Time to delete. I use other apps with better streaming and download capabilities. Too much drama & blackouts with Dish
