5 ★I was getting Robo text messages from various Gmail accounts with naughty spam links in them at all hours of the night...this App stopped them when no one else could. Great customer Service also when I needed help with the settings. No glitches, no complaints. Great product!
2 ★Okay, I downloaded this so I could block nasty text messages that I am receiving. I put those in the block folder buy most of those are still coming through and the ones I said allow are being blocked and it's very difficult to see how to block the bad ones and remove the ones I want from the blocked list. Also, every decent feature you have on this app calls for money. Why are you honest and don't say it's free when it really isn't.
3 ★This app has done a great job at blocking unwanted messages, but cant give 5 star rating. It errors on 3 of my contacts numbers, and although I put those 3 contacts blocked into the allow list, this app still blocks those 3 contacts. I don't view my block list till end of day and miss the messages from my 3 friends/contacts texts. Very frustrating.
2 ★Meh. I want to like this app, but its so slow. Compared to Google Messages (which was very fast but Terrible at blocking Spam), Spam Blocker is really slow to do everything from opening the keyboard or sending my messages, to opening contact details or chat conversations. The slowness of everything makes it really hard to like, but i haven't gotten a single spam text all day, so I'm still debating if the trade-off was worth it.
1 ★Can't BLOCK unless you pay? Older androids have us options to block PHRASES but now we have newer phones with less features and must pay to have old features lol no thanks.
4 ★BLOCKS Text Messages before they get into your texting app..Signal you have to block manually, got annoying...
5 ★I was really frustrated about all those marketing messages I was receiving every day and my Galaxy S10+ has no option to filter by phrase. I really love this app as I don't get to read all that junk anymore. Great work by developer.
1 ★No responsive customer support. I have sent two emails regarding an issue I am having with the paid version. It is not allowing messages to come through from one # that I am aware of, don't know how many more messages I am missing. The app does block emails and spam as stated.
5 ★Works. So far it has blocked every single spam txt once I got it set up. I'm using premium, and I think the price is fair. The customer support is very good also. They helped me get the app settings right where I needed. Fast response also.
3 ★I don't receive a notification when I get a text message. I never know unless I check if I have an important text message. I have tried everything to get a notification but no luck. This lowers it to 3 stars.
4 ★Works very well for what little options we have at this moment. Also want to add, people who are complaining want everything for free- pay for the app and you won't have issues with adds. Quit being cheap- it's worth the money if you actually need it
2 ★Im just not 100% crazy about it. You have to view ads to delete messages. It flags or questions even the texts you want to recieve. Its plain and has no visual appeal. No color just white..... No dancing robots or cartoony "assistants" not sure that I will keep it.
