1 ★Not sure what is going on. My app was updated this morning and now when I click the app it pops up with an ad for something in the play store. I paid for VIP and now i don't even see where that is on my profile. I have to click continue to Go SMS before I can see my messages. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I have been using this app for years, but I will delete if its not corrected.
1 ★Not sure what's going on. I've paid for and had VIP for many, MANY years. I now have an annoying ad pop up when I go to use it for a text message. The themes haven't been updated since July 2019. Most of the themes I have downloaded have disappeared as well as the different fonts. Very frustrating. I also cannot access the VIP function where it tells me I have it, there are only the icons after my profile name.
2 ★Constant notifications while reading a thread. Maybe it's tagging them as read for the first time, but even if so, that's a dumb way to manage the database. The messages are ALREADY THERE, so if you have to mark them as read, don't fire a notification.
1 ★I've been using this app for about 6 years now, and haven't had a problem with it until now. After this last update, I am now greeted by a loading screen with an advertisement whenever I open the app. Since I just renewed my paid subscription to VIP specifically to get rid of ads, I am not particularly impressed with this change. Not only am I getting the ads I specifically paid to get rid of, but now I'm getting them in a more intrusive way then when I didn't pay for VIP.
1 ★Jan17th: ad showed up again.please fix it. Update: Jan16th the ad has stopped for now. Please dont do that to us ever again lol.. Ive been using this for years with no ads todays update produces an ad after the annoying HI WELCOME BACK sign that doesnt need to be there. Why cant i view the vip and other things that where there or restore ad remove thing. You guys need to fix this or im done. I dont need a welcome back every single time i open my messages.
1 ★Had this app for 5 or more years; loved it, no problems. Now it's experiencing all types of issues with not receiving text alerts and etc. The developers do not respond or fix issues. Since this Jan 13, 21 update it just don't go straight to text it has ads or something first and I paid for VIP. It use to be an great app.
1 ★Like everyone else said this update is terrible. I have used this app for years, but this new update has ruined the app. If all the ads are not fixed within the next day or so I'm deleting the app! If you want people to keep using it you have to fix all the ads especially the one when you first open the app. This is unacceptable!

I also don't need my phone notifications to light up with 20+ go sms icons as if I'm getting that many text messages just because I've opened the app. I've been using this app for over 8 years & it's becoming annoying at this point!! Fix it or I'm deleting!!
1 ★Uninstalling, app has been having problems (not sending messages, no notification sound) and now the ads dumped in. I've gotten no response at all from numerous attempts to contact the developers. As with most of the recent reviews, this latest update was enough to end my use for this. (I've been a user for many years, since it was first released, and have the Pro version)
1 ★Used to be a 5-star app but notifications have not worked for ages. At least there have been some updates recently but none have fixed the lack of notification when a new message is received. Would be useful if the update log included what has been fixed. UPDATE: The new update with the ad before I can read a message was the final straw and I will now stop using this app
1 ★All of a sudden you have to wait for the app to open and an ad pops up when you open the app before you can view your messages? That is extremely annoying. I've been using this app for 5+ years. Now when I open the message to respond it won't register the contact I'm responding to and won't let me send the message. I have to close the app and open it back up just to send a message. Very inconvenient. I will be deleting it.. Time to find a new messaging app.
1 ★I've been using this app for 10yrs...n everything was free! Also you used to could put unlimited conversations in the private box for free! Country in state of crisis due to corona virus and you all trying to charge people to put conversations in the private box!! I shouldn't have to keep clicking continue to app...to get to my messages or everytime I re-enter the app!!!
