Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Got a Daydream headset a while back and it worked fine then. Went to use it again and somehow the S9 is no longer compatible despite it being listed as compatible on a few different sites including Daydream support.
1 ★Used to be able to use vr on Chrome but now it requires this vr services toolkit. It's incredibly annoying, not as intuitive or easy to use as before. Completely useless
1 ★A fantastic App. Does not work on my Samsung device anymore. Samsung will not fix the issue. Googe should encourage them to address the issue.
1 ★The bad brightness options make it unusable. Please add gamma and brightness/contrast options.
1 ★Try deleting anyone of Google's apps and watch them retaliate by deleting you contacts or other necessary data and information read permissions before you download anything. Permissions are the abilities you give an app for using it. READ EVEN THE ONES YOU HAVE TO HAVE JUST TO USE YOUR DEVICE
2 ★I guess it works well enough, but there really should be a way to recenter from inside the VR view.
3 ★To many permissions, runs in the background constantly even though I never use it, takes up resources.. the app probably is awesome, the devs and team working on it too.. but the lack of a sense of privacy (no matter how naive it is to assume we have any..) is what I can't ignore when is staring at me. It uses up memory and resources-obviously sucks since it's stuck to my phone!!!! Arg.
5 ★Not sure why people say it's draining thier battery. But I don't use it at all all I did was nothing. It's been on my phone the whole time. (Google pixel 2xl) my battery lasts around 2 days. 1 day if I'm one it alot (4 hours or more of screen being on all at once). I didnt have an issue with any vr either when I used it either (like the times I used it.)
1 ★Cannot view any VR content on any platform!!!!!! Fix this please for the love of god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1 ★I have never used my phone for VR. In general, I'm happy to view the world in RR (Real Reality). Now, if I played games with my phone, I'd probably be interested in manipulating my reality. A good VR game (I have none), some VR Gear (oops, got none of that either), and finally, some medical intervention (again I neither smoke or snort, nor eat Brownies by Rx). So, why does my $800 phone pester me constantly to download "Google VR Services". This is Google, they already know this...
1 ★Error phone not compatible vas most have found dispite having a Google Pixel 4XL I would think it's more like VR has been shelved by Google and the NFC software development has moved on
1 ★Daydream stopped working with my Galaxy S9 plus after Android 10 update. It's been over a month and it still hasn't started working again...
