A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★The new 2023-2024 version of this app is absolutely garbage. The NHL has done it again, they've made it harder to follow your team. As a fan of a team in a Bally's broadcast city I and most others here can't get the games on TV. So we depend on the app and in particular the extended highlights to follow our teams. But not only have they made 'the league' the primary focus of the app, now the extended highlight video is gone. NHL YOUR CHEAP AND YOU CONTINUE TO CUT OFF YOUR NOSE TO SPITE YOUR FACE
1 ★Please bring back the flow chart!!! That was what got me into hockey. I started seeing the sport in a new way with a visual representation of how the energy was flowing on the ice. I even yell "ping" whenever a puck hits the goal post now because of that chart haha. But yeah super disappointed with this app.
2 ★The new version of the app no longer lets you look back at a schedule of past games. The stats that the app offers are also limited. It's disappointing that I would have to use my browser instead of the app dedicated to the NHL. Push notifications from this app make my phone sluggish and unresponsive.
4 ★Decent app, used to be awesome. Updates are pretty clunky but at least feel new... 2 easy things I want to have updated (I would post a pic of edited app modifications but seems attachments aren't possible): - on Scores tab: show not only who scored but who assisted, and season totals, so at a glance I don't have to click into each game one by one to find out - on Scores tab: for games in progress the goals are updated right to left but completed games are left to right. That's dumb and clunky
2 ★The new update is trash. I hate the new layout. The way it was setup before, where you could set ul your favourite team and then your following team and customise your notifications for everything else was great. The way you could see everything relevant to one team easily was great. whatever this is now is utter garbage. Literally easier to google what i need to know now.
1 ★The app was updated for 2023 season and it's still just awful. The only reason I have this app is to access my tickets, and it's even worse to use than last season. You shouldn't have to jump through multiple hoops just to use your game tickets. What's worse, the window is now compressed into a tiny slot. Instead of making it easier and user friendly, the process is time consuming and frustrating. Listening to games, the app stays open days after the game ended with no way to close it
1 ★Not a fan of the redesign. It's difficult to find things and defaults to NHL news rather than my team now. I also don't like all the video clips cluttering the layout. Just tried to review today's lineups and getting content can't be displayed. Edit: worse than I thought. Downgrading to 1.
1 ★This app is terrible. Your favorite team is no longer your home screen. There are know after game videos of the media interviews. There are no individual player stats for your favorite team. The old app was much better. Although they made sure to include large advertising blocks on each screen, what a joke. Whoever developed this app did a terrible job.
1 ★Obligatory "only 1 star because 0 stars is not an option." The new UI is the opposite of user-friendly. It's not at all intuitive, and finding anything is convoluted at best and impossible at worst (as they've also eliminated comprehensive stats in certain places, like box scores). Very fitting that the NHL app would be just as much of a dumpster fire as the league is itself.
1 ★App is trash now. I used to be able to see the whole calendar with a snippet of every team mine plays but now I have to look through every. single. date. I can't scroll games past the end of the week and have to select each date separately?? The only scenario I see this being someone's serious attempt at an app is if you put a blind monkey in front of some developing software and told them to go ham. Change for the sake of change isn't always progressive. Revert the app please.
1 ★Update is terrible. The scrolling is glitchy along with just being flat out nonsensical. Why can I only go back one day to check scores? Why do I have to go into the calendar and pick the date of a game I might want to look up days prior? The old one let you scroll in perpetuity. Hiding information..we can see how many goals a player has on the main score page, but not when you go into a game? How about assists? Nope, gotta go into the game to see who got the assets. Just all around a big mess.
1 ★The new update, no offense to the developers who worked hard on this, is awful. The old version while janky was easy to navigate and used to default to the team I was following. Now it's such a mess that I'm thinking of removing it off my phone. It would be nice if they kept how the features on the old app but improved the interface.
