「新竹古早丸－古蹟逍遙遊」是由一群國立交通大學理學院碩士在職專班熱血的同學們親身體驗，蒐集整理的新竹市27處古蹟指南。
我們想讓大家從新竹市的原始面容出發，認識新竹市的古往今來，希望服務每一位「想要了解城市古早風貌」的旅行家，讓這本方便的電子口袋書，經由旅行家的口耳相傳，使新竹市的美，讓所有人知道！

行動理念

新竹市是個小而美的城市，在歷任的市長帶領及全體市民的支持努力下，整體呈現融合古早與現代的特有風貌，與文化內涵，可是如何讓大家知道新竹市的美？分享城市的獨特景緻呢？，2012年的秋天，我們從新竹市的歷史人文出發，請跟著我們的腳步，品嚐新竹古早丸，來一趟古蹟逍遙遊吧！
住在新竹市感受百分之分的幸福，因為這裡有最先進的科技，也有最厚實的文化內涵，兼容並蓄更顯得周延，讓生活更多便利。因為它真的好，所以想讓大家知道，先從竹塹城的開端－古蹟開始，且聽我們娓娓道來。
這27處的古蹟，有著竹塹先民開發的血汗紀錄，也有著台灣人的傳統信仰與生活哲學，遊客可以從中了解新竹市的起源，更可一窺早期台灣發展的梗概，我們希望「新竹古早丸」只是一個開始，未來將充實內容，完整介紹新竹市的景點與文化，是供更方便的旅遊資訊。
「新竹古早丸－古蹟逍遙遊」今年預計歸納、整理新竹市既有的5處國定古蹟，及23處市定古蹟，除了對古蹟的簡要介紹外，位於古蹟周邊的景點、著名小吃也網羅其中，使用者按圖索驥，就可發現隱身在都會區的小天地，希望提供給使用者更方便的服務。
工作團隊產生在一個很偶然的機會，卻在新竹市巧遇下，共同為新竹市及大家開始圓一個夢想－將新竹市的美推薦給大家，過程中有許多的感動，或許團隊成員不曾透露，卻在點滴的互動與堅持下，深刻體會。
身為新竹市生活圈的一員，我們希望用心能被看見，更需要大家的指正、支持，趕快下載「新竹古早丸－古蹟逍遙遊」APP，與我同遊科技文化城市－新竹市！

APP功能

新竹古早丸共分平安丸、舒活丸、及第丸、米粉加貢丸和景春丸等5丸，不定期「服用」可保健身體；舒暢身心，首頁點選即可進入閱覽，各丸說明如下：
一、平安丸
包含古色古香廟宇古蹟的健康5丸：長和宮、水仙宮、新竹都城隍廟、關帝廟、金山寺等。
二、舒活丸
包含古蹟周邊有寬廣的腹地的健康7丸：鄭用錫墓、辛志平校長故居、楊氏節孝坊、蘇氏節孝坊、張氏節孝坊、新竹高中劍道館、李錫金孝子坊等。
三、及第丸
包含古蹟蘊涵先人德風的健康3丸：進士第、鄭氏家廟、關帝廟等。
四、米粉加摃丸
包含城隍廟附近古蹟的健康7丸：竹塹城迎曦門、新竹州廳、新竹都城隍廟、新竹信用組合、新竹市役所、新竹州圖書館、李克承博士故居等。
五、景春丸
包含景象獨特、無法歸類於前4丸的健康7丸：新竹火車站、新竹專賣局、新竹神社殘跡及其附屬建築、香山火車站、新竹水道－取水口、新竹水道－水源地、新竹少年刑務所演武場等。
點選進入各古蹟後，可看到古蹟地址、建造年份、古蹟特色、參觀資訊、小摃丸推、小米粉說、周邊景點、相關網站、地圖及街景連結等，讓使用者只要透過這個APP，就能獲得足夠的資訊。
