Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Overall bad experience for 1st time on the app. The biking experience was excellent and convenient. Bad: - Could not unlock bike using QR code, it doesn't work most of the time, and when it works, it takes a forever to scan. - App keeps giving me the error saying I am not within 300 meter of the kiosk for the Bluetooth to work, but I am standing physically next to it. - Drains the phone battery like never before. 10 mins of usage drops 12% of my battery. Overheated my phone.
1 ★If I could rate this 0 stars I would. The problems started when they switched to Moneris, it just stopped taking my Visa Debit and i was on the phone with company for months and eventually ended my annual pass (which I did regularly for years). Then it miraculously started working again. Now for the last year it requests my password at the end of transaction, can't be autofilled and it never accepts it. Have to wait 20 mins in the cold for password reset email and repeat next week. Terrible app
5 ★I was very concerned by all the negative reviews. I guess it depends on the bike network you use. Here in Toronto, I have used the app for 3 month now without any problem. Sometimes the station map is not well updated and you find out that the station is full/empty but in overall it works great. The unlocking process is easy with the QR code, or even with the 6-digits codes. The app also recently underwent a nice UI update. I used it without any subscription first and was able to unlock two bikes for myself and my partner, and now I use it with the annual subscription.
1 ★Terrible app and terrible experience! . I could not get the app (kept getting error when entering cc) to work so I paid at the kiosk, used it for 15 minutes then had to dock the bike because I would have gone over before reaching the next station. But then the next station did not have a credit card reader and the app still would not work so I had to call customer service and they were useless. I ended up asking for a refund. Really frustrated and I would definitely not use this service again.
2 ★30 minutes between each stop is a horrible torture. Especially when the bike stops are full. App doesn't work because you can't unlock if you're not close.. even if you're standing right next to the station. (multiple phones, location and mobile data enabled) you call support and they just tell you to restart you phone.. which doenst help. Bikes are good though. Anyway won't do it again soon, would rather by my own bike for more $.
2 ★Long way to go before it is usable. 1) Change the search function so that users can search. i feel silly having to say that. When I click into a search bar, I expect to be able to type in search parameters...not get a search dropdown that only allows me to see my current position. 2) Map navigation...autopopulate the bike docks on it as you scroll. If my phone isn't geographically located in an area, the docks won't display. Poorly thought out design...as typically people bike to other locations
2 ★Huge step down from the previous Transit app for Bike Share Toronto. Slowly boots up enough to zoom in to... the last place you used the app. (Why do I need that?? Clearly I'm no longer near the last place I used it, since the whole point of the app was to get out a bike to take me somewhere else!) Slow & clunky, the maps have been incorrect multiple times, and occasionally it just doesn't work and you can't take a bike out at all. Not a good gamble if you rely on it to commute! Disappointed.
1 ★App froze and froze and froze. Took 10 minutes of retries to get it to work. Then it said I was not at a station when the map showed my dot right no top of the marker. Another user suggested I use Transit instead. Thank you for the advice. Download Transit and DO NOT waste your data bandwidth on this app because it is awful. It also uses a lot of data because the programmer doesn't know how to load markers properly. I think the freeze is loading all of Toronto when 3 nearby stations would do just fine.
1 ★terrible experience in my first try. First had issue getting the bike (saying I should be close to the station). called support and the workaround was to turn off then turn on again my GPS (seems to be a known issue). Then, to return in Woodbine Beach I couldn't find a station with space. called again and their system was down, so not even the attendants knew where I could find an available station.
1 ★This app is frustrating right from the word go. I have been struggling to signup because the form keeps reporting an "invalid entry, please update " but does not highlight what the invalid entry is. I dont know who designed an app that says there is a problem but doesnt highlight the problem. I've tried different permutations of everything and different cards. Just nonsensical design
1 ★Terrible experience with the app. It often doesn't work when I try to unlock a bike, saying it can't access my geolocation. It's often made me late
1 ★What a stupid app, I can't even do the very basic such as editing my profile. When I click save change it does absolutely nothing, and when I hit back and in again not a single thing I just input was saved. Are you guys so poor that you only hire street programmers to develop the app? Its 2021 already why can't you nail the most simple thing that needs to be done right? Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.
