JUST SPEND THE EXTRA MO.EY AND GO WITH ENTERPRISE AT THIS POINT LOL 😆😂🙃 IF AVIS DECIDES TO GROW UP AND SETTLE THIS MATTER CORRECTLY I "MAY" HAVE A CHANGE OF HEART. 5 ★Was easy to extend a rental through the app.
2 ★App used to be great, but now it's beginning to be pretty useless. Every time I try to rent a car, it literally ALWAYS says that they are sold out. No matter the location I pick. But when I call the location, they say they are nowhere near sold out. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!! What's the reason for having an app if you can't rent off of it??
1 ★Garbage app. Starts by asking for location. Then the wait wheel starts...then times out. "Proximity search not available for the given input". Repeat. There's no need for location services when opening the app, also a very programmer way to say that the service is not available. I got an email to select a car that I reserved online. Wanted to do it and download the app. First time user, pushed the button to select my car, and well, see above. Solid do not recommend on this app.
1 ★App is useless! Doesn't help in any way over just going to the counter. The big board in the lots tell you where your car is. Just like the app does. I have not been able to select a car with the app like it says it does. Useless
5 ★I love Avis grate discounts programs, as for any downsides yeah there's one at many locations i rented from I received cars that could of been cleaned out better and iam not at all a clean freck by all means so it's not over exaggerated maybe a better way to inform employees on cleaning or not at send cars to the car wash 😀 idk but GRATE CAR INSURANCE OTHER WISE "THANKS AVIS"
1 ★I don't even give them 1 star because they make changes, and don't feel it's important to let a customer know before rendering services. I rented a car from them only to get to location and find out their deposit went from $100 which is what I normally paid to $250. And due to me not knowing this information Avis still took $150 from me because I had to cancel because I wasn't aware of their new rule.. Will never rent from them again. Definitely will be letting my family and friends know.
1 ★Just installed will not allow me to sign up. I complete the form and a message comes up to complete first name. I thought it was because my name is short. So the next time I used my first and middle name and still got the same message. Very irritating please fix this error.
4 ★This app works very well. It is easy to navigate & is intuitive. I really like the Preferred Customer program. My car info & parking spot was on the app upon arrival at the airport. I easily skipped a 1 1/2 hour+ wait in line at Charlotte!!!!
1 ★Everything about this company is horrible. Waiting over an hour in line with probably 2 hours left to go and can't use the app to check in because you need to confirm my identity. It's almost 2 am. Get it together. Don't bother with this app or company
2 ★Very bad!!! I have worked with other rental companies this one makes it impossible to pay them... i want to pay but it's just hard to do so
2 ★Despite trying to correct the spelling of my name on the app and website, it won't change. No one could help me at the counter of the physical location, either. The call center was a nightmare that actually made things worse and now I'm locked out of my account online. Unnecessary headache.
