1 ★My rating is for customer service not the app. I've spent HOURS on hold trying to redeem flight credits. Literally just spent 3 hours online with an agent name Cherrymae. I had to cancel my trip back in October 22' due to the hurricane that destroyed Ft Myers Beach, Florida. I've gotten no where with redeeming my flight credits and they expire next month
1 ★Overcharged! I was charged a lot more than what they promised. I booked a room at Circus Circus, just to be charged double the amount once I got there. I used CheapTickets because they said all fees included in the price, including resort fees. That wasn't the case and ended up paying almost DOUBLE the amount.
1 ★The app itself is easy to use and get the tickets. My reason for the 1 star is the customer support. They have a virtual agent who cannot cannot you to a live person and keeps asking the same information over and over. If I had the information requested then why would I need help from the app to get the information. Completely useless customer service.
5 ★Very simple to use, offers loads of good quality options including, the possibilities of free cancellation and paying later. Had to phone customer service once for a refund; the person handling the call was kind, efficient and helped us right away. The refund went through very quickly and smoothly, too. Cheers !
5 ★Been using this app for years, I love it, keeps all my travel plans in one place, from hotels, car rentals, events, and flyts. Good costmer service, they have help me change flyts,and change booking during my trip.. 5 stars...
5 ★CheapTickets basically walked me thru the airport. Was fully up to date with any change. Had maps. Car rental, you name it. Gave me the best package I could find. I tend to be pretty loyal to apps that treat me well. If I travel, I'm using CheapTickets!
1 ★Had to cancel a flight because of COVID, so I had a statement credit because Cheaptickets refused to refund the money. They sent me a notice with a button to cancel the flight on a flight that got canceled anyway. They did that to make it easy for you to cancel your plans so they don't have to give you a refund. Their customer service associates have heavy accents that make them difficult to understand which is frustrating when you're already aggravated trying to get your issue resolved.
1 ★I never, ever had such a horrible experience in traveling as when I booked through Cheap Tickets! They gave me 2 one way tickets, did not answer any questions or respond, I ended up paying way too much, sent me no confirmation #'s, did not help with special needs, and once they got my Visa #, were not any help at all! I had to call directly to TWO DIFFERENT airlines for assistance since they erroneously gave me 2 one way tickets. Steer Clear of #CheapTickets!!!
3 ★Keep in mind that all prices are in USD$ I'm in Canada and failed to realize this. so what I thought was a deal, really wasn't. Still happy with the app and the customer service. Comparable to Expedia.
1 ★Booked a flight to Antalya, paid for the flight, received itinerary and receipt via email, proceeded to obtain a VISA to enter Turkey. 30 minutes later received an email that there was an issue with my flight. Cheap Tickets sold me a seat on a plane that was 100% full! I waited on hold for 43 min. to speak with a rep that was extremely difficult to understand, did not resolve the issue I'm out $1600 for 72 hours, the price of the ticket, yet need to pay for another flight immediately. Terrible
1 ★Creating a "Trip" and booking flights within that trip is impossible. Further more, when I booked 3 flights, 2 off them show as one trip and the 3rd shows as another trip. There is not way to organize these and people in the chat line can't help. They won't even call you when asked. So frustrating!
4 ★My experience went very well, I read a lot of negative things about the app but it seems like some people are not following directions or they wanna cancel something at the last minute. I purchased my tickets and did exactly what they told me and didn't have no problems at the gate.
