A APP das Notificações Eletrónicas permite o acesso às notificações recebidas no âmbito do Serviço Público de Notificações Eletrónicas (SPNE) que foi criado pela Lei nº 9/2017 de 3 de março, Dec-lei nº 93/2017 de 1 de agosto e Portaria nº 365/2017 de 7 de dezembro.O objetivo do SPNE associado à MUD é a notificação de cidadãos e empresas para o endereço de correio eletrónico, livremente escolhido pelo cidadão ou empresa, com efeitos legais de notificação oficial equiparados à sua morada física.
A MUD deverá ser fidelizada pelo cidadão ou empresas no momento de adesão ao SPNE, de forma eletrónica ou presencial, através de métodos seguros de verificação de identidade e de titularidade efetiva do endereço eletrónico indicado.
O SPNE será facultativo quer para as entidades aderentes que optem por enviar notificações por este canal, quer para os cidadãos e empresas que optem por ser notificados por esta via.
Poderão aderir ao SPNE as pessoas singulares e coletivas, públicas e privadas, nacionais e estrangeiras.
