Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Good telegram, whatsapp competitor. This app has great potential. At this moment it's not fit for daily use. Unlike other peer-to-peer messengers & chat app has reliability issues. Messages do not go at the time they were sent, calls sometimes do not ring, read indicator is buggy and does not show for actual sent text. If these issues—especially those around text, audio calls— were fixed would be awesome. Till then install and watch the developement closely. It will surpass everyone.
2 ★Jami is a very promising concept but it does not support registration of SIP accounts if the SIP server domain and registration domain are different (if you use a custom domain without hosting your own SIP server). I haven't had this problem with other SIP clients. Personally, I wouldn't use or recommend an app with such a major flaw, even if I could register. I would be interested in giving it another try once the app is fully functional. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app due to freezing upon launch. Beware: App design does not allow to simply log into existing Ring account after reinstall even with correct credentials!
2 ★Promising app but extremely unreliable. Messages do not send at all sometimes and there's no resend feature. Other times your messages are sent in a large, unorganized cluster. The same will happen of messages you are to receive as well. I look forward to a more stable version of this app.
3 ★Great communication app with great idea behind it's open distributed and secure technology, however still needs some tweaks and fixes to make it even more stable and complete, like more consistent support for Bluetooth headset, maybe on more devices like mine Moto G8 Plus; as I did not manage to make it working. It provide quiet good image quality for video calls also.
5 ★Has big potential, it has everything you would expect a chat app to have besides group text chats at this time. From trying it out on a Pixel 2, it didn't significantly impact battery life while still receiving push notifications. The desktop app has a rather large minimum window size however, and sent messages only appear on the device you send from. Received messages work fine though.
1 ★I love the concept of a decentralized network but this just doesn't work at all. In 90% of the time simple text messages are simply not delivered and are lost. Voice calls are unusable since the app apparently doesn't detect the microphone on the Pixel 3. Pity, it would have been what many of us need.
3 ★I think it's a noble idea, but there's a problem with the secrecy statement. There is a central server for intercepting communications that is the TURN server which relays the media traffic between clients, which is enabled by default. This obviously only affects voice and video calls only. But for true peer to peer communication disable TURN and use STUN instead.
1 ★Great UI/UX. BUT it is constantly crashing and quitting in mid video call. It hangs up and lags. It doesn't even want to successfully make calls half the time. The app looks nice but that's all. It has no functionality outside of a good design.
2 ★Promising but unfortunately does not deliver. Every day something new breaks. One day I can't send messages or messages are spuriously lost, another I can't receive, another day calls are muted in the middle, and another day I won't be able to receive any. Things randomly get fixed and broken with every update, apparently the QA is nonexistent.
2 ★Good app but big problem Delay in reciving message Very bad on video call long searching and not found to call I can't deletet or edit my sent message No timer message No auto delete message
4 ★I would give Jami 5 stars if they would allow you to control the ringer volume settings. Its not a huge issue but pretty annoying that i cant control that (set to mute/vibrate/turn up down volume). otherwise i havent had to many issues and its pretty easy to use.
5 ★Privacy at first place. Free and opensource! Clear audio when whazapp or skype fail (poor networks bandwitdth). Some problems were fixed and it works better if you install from Play Store. I think they need to change some icons like msg received/no received, mic enabled/disabled, ...
