SuperBeam 5.0 is the easiest, fastest and most secure way to share large files between your devices using WiFi direct. 1 ★Used to be great, and I have the Pro for that reason. Now just not working on my Motorola & Samsung devices. And seems like devs have abandoned the app.
1 ★On android 10 may update you have a serious problem, reciving folder can't be changed, you can only by luck send from phone to a desire pc phone the option to send from app it self. file from file menagere by option shere via super beam is not working....
1 ★I have regret to inform all new users of this app that I couldn't use it between phone and PC in over two years, with different phones, wifi-s and PCs. Tried every setting possible. Update 19 may 2020: still absolutely USELESS.
5 ★It used to be a pain for my wife and I to send each other large amounts of pics that we took of our son. Too large to email, and WiFi Direct natively wouldn't work because it sends them by default to internal memory which didn't have enough space. This has been a great tool to easily share pics and vids and it goes straight to the external SD and very fast! Thanks for this app!
1 ★I bought the paid version to send folders to people with the free version, and to send files between my phone and PC. You got rid of the free version, and PC transfer does not work. also Apple devices are not supported. Get your app working and compatible before trying to force people to pay. Now I have wasted my money and will not recommend the app to anybody. There was potential for the app, but you are trying to sell a chicken before hatching the egg.
3 ★Got the PRO version and it worked great... Twice... Hasn't worked since, no matter what...
1 ★Web transfer requires password, but doesn't give one and there's no place to set one. Garbage, worse than useless since it's a waste of time.
5 ★such an underated and underused app. easily thr next best thing to Airdrop actually coming to android. Its faster than any other app I've tried, under identical network conditions (Send Anywhere, and similar apps) and the easiest to initiate a transfer (REALLY helps if both devices have a camera). Recently their website seems to have disappeared, which I hope isn't a sign that this underrated app is being discontinued. Thanks much to the developers for this.
3 ★1. It works, but on Windows 10 it will only send using wifi and QR code. 2. I had to find this out by trial and error, no user doc pointed this out. 3. Does not provide interface to specify destination folders. Have to use a phone app to find and move. 4. Had to stop and restart on both devices to do a 2nd xfer. App will repeat the xfer ad nauseam.
1 ★Cannot share anything displays nah on receiving device i have used superbeam before and it worked fine but in the current state this app is useless.
5 ★Easiest way to share files between Android phones and PC's over wifi. (basically no setup needed.) Max transfer speeds for me is 150Mbp/s. App is out of development. But it's okay because it works perfectly for wifisharing over Android/PC/Linux. (No mobile ios support) Dev website was down for a couple months but it's back online now
1 ★No longer functions, it crashes or hangs on attempts to do anything WiFi based (all possible options) and doesn't have any support for NFC anymore.
