Als Rahmung des "Sommer- und Lusthauses", des heutigen Schlosses Veitshöchheim, entstand ab 1702 ein Blumengarten, der ungefähr quadratisch abgesteckt war. Der Zugang erfolgte von der Dorfstraße her. Daraus ergab sich die Anlage eines Vorgartens mit Haupteingang und Auffahrt.
