A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★The guides in the old version were better and included more. Now they want me to pay more for less. I am on a trip and LP removed two city guides I was using without my permission. Why should I buy something that could disappear in the middle of a trip. Monumental customer service fail. LP publishes useful guides, but all of my future use will be from the library or used copies. Not a nickel more to this company from me. The promised help never happened. I'd switch to zero stars if that were an
4 ★Brilliant app for travelling. Very easy to use, loads of information and is the best out there for what to see and what to miss. The problem is the price. It costs £38 to view all the guides for a year. For that kind of money i would not expect a time constraint. If it was a one of payment it would be a fair price. Another issue is that without paying, you are only able to view 5 descriptions a month.
1 ★Lost all my downloaded maps with the recent update. I am leaving for a trip very soon, had all my maps and plans prepared, and now all the maps are gone. Added 1 month subscription, for recovering the maps. Followed the instructions on how to download my lost maps, but it doesn't work!! No 'download' button preset, even though the instructions said so. Very bad QA Not recommending subscription if offlineaps can't be downloaded Clearing cache didn't help. Reinstalled the app, download works now
1 ★I used to love this app - it was easy to use, had lots of information, and helped me plan for a number of trips. Now it's a paid-for subscription service, I'll be uninstalling as its no longer fit for purpose for me - the costs aren't worth the amount I use it (despite Lonely Planet's copy and pasted response to all of the other comments that are the same as mine). There are a number of other free resources (which funnily enough includes LP's own website) that I'll continue to use instead.
5 ★LP Guides have lots of info for the tourist but especially the independant traveller. I have used LP Guides whenever I travel - through India, Asia and Europe over the last thirty years! The info is concise and accurate so we used it to find all our accommodation, places to eat, things to do and places to visit. Excellent. I am about to travel through France, Spain and Italy by myself for a couple of months and will be relying on the City and Country guides for their local knowledge.
5 ★I love this app for trip planning. The best features are the search, the bookmarks and the fact you can download the city guides for offline. If you're going to a place with a great metro like Seoul or Taipei, the app tells you which train to take to the places. I'd recommend for any travelers!
5 ★I used this app while in Europe. I was able to use the map and gps function while offline (I didn't have an international data plan). This was a great way to have a map but also see different sights with some basic info. Also some basic language information that was really helpful.
1 ★Unfortunately, can't make this app working and useful. After downloading city and offline map, app is still showing as I'm outside the city. Navigation is impossible, and map itself is not so helpful. Old guide map that I used in 2016. worked flawlessly, I don't understand what is this... Edit: uninstalled it after found it charging for something that's not actually useful. Quite a shame.
1 ★When I first downloaded it, the app was free and we booked all our excursions for our trip through it. I recommended the app to anyone that traveled. Now you have to pay a monthly subscription for the app. Doesnt seem worth the price when there are plenty of free apps available that have the same features.
1 ★Changed to subscription model and I can't subscribe. When I click the subscribe button, app tells me I'm not connected to internet even though I am. Don't like new user interface. Old one was better. More confusing to use now. More buggy now. Seems it was not tested well before new release. I guess LP was in a hurry to collect our $. Too expensive. Uninstalled.
5 ★I just downloaded this app and it's awesome! Going to Italy and I'm planning to use it. I was very happy that has offline maps and Free! Already checked all my favorites. A lot of great information, do's and dont's, etc. It would be GREAT I if can have a planner/things to do for each day. Ill be there for 3 wks and a planner would be Perfecto! Update: Thanks a lot! Wanted to be more specific; I meant to have itineraries for the places to visit along with the maps. Thanks a million!
1 ★Atleast offer a trial run before charging a subscription. I've installed it, and in 2-3 minutes, I'm getting a window to subscribe to "Must See." I mean these information are also available on other site. So why would I pay for something that doesn't even differentiate you. You have got to come up with a better proposition.
