2 ★This has been my most used app with a decent experience for a few years now. But lately each update removes a feature it already had, often sneakily without mentioning anything in the update notes. Most recently the "resume last playing" at startup has changed to grayed out and does not work. Now when you open the app and customarily close the first pop-up ad, you have to click play manually and immediately have to close another ad as if being punished for trying to use the app at all.
5 ★I use this mostly for Android auto to get better sounding, better reception radio. It integrates well with AA. I've had issues with another app where the on screen buttons and auto resume wouldnt work. Both work great on this app. Not thrilled about subscription to get rid of ads as I would rather pay one time and be done with it but subscription is a very comman thing now. Still a great app and I recommend if you are looking for something to use with android auto.
1 ★The radio stops often when I am listening. It is annoying. I have to close the app and restart it sometimes this helps but then an ad has to play everytime I restart and makes me miss the song I was listening to. Sometimes when it shows that it is playing it is actually not. Also the station changes on its own when I am not even touching the screen on my phone. I used to love this app but now not so much. My other listening apps dont have this problem.
2 ★I had to uninstall. The app was managable before with ads (triggering when trying to play music) and I was hoping for a paid version. However, I can't even open the new app and navigate the menu items to find the paid option without getting spammed with ads. Response to Support: You can reproduce by installing the app and using it as an unsubcribed user. Try to navigate the menus and you'll see how the ads become a hurdle when navigating your app.
1 ★Just another tune-in clone. No FM tuner, just another one of a million online streaming apps. Seriously, is it really that difficult to write a simple FM tuner app that does not rely on data and streaming, but uses a standard FM radio receiver present in many phones? I know it may seem "old school" to you kids, but some of us prefer good old fashioned radio, that works when the data networks don't. Uninstalling. This app is useless to me. The world does not need another useless clone.
3 ★Possibly malicious ads undermine this app that has thousands of channels. Way too many ads pop up out of nowhere. Some ads disguise themselves as feature upgrades. Don't trust this app with any personal information or permissions. It's a shame, because there are so many channels from around the world. I'd explore the channels much more if I had the time and patience.
5 ★This is a very good app with an enormous selection of genres, countries, languages and networks for you to choose from. I have but one understandable quibble with this app and that is the enormous and ubiquitous amount of advertising that is sent your way. There is an ad popping up at every turn. However, I can forgive this given the quality and breadth of selection that this app provides. Remember, there is no direct cost to use this app and they have to pay for their services somehow.
2 ★Uninstall. Commercial ads galore. Sometimes when listening, it will just stop playing music. Then I would have to go back in the app to start it again to and guess what? Another ad is played. Another issue is that sometimes a radio station is unavailable, when I just listened to it yesterday. The only reason I gave it a 2 star and not a 1 is because, it's app and it function right about 30% of the time.
1 ★This is a decent app for finding FM radio stations and listen to music BUT the ads just ruined the experience for me! I DO NOT want to deal with ads while navigation the app or while listen to while looking at the song and radio station. You're going to have to offer a AD-FREE version of this or I'll stick with something else. Absolutely don't recommend and I'm uninstalling
3 ★App works wonderfully! I can listen to many radio stations whenever/whereever! Big problem with push notifications though. Even when disabled in the app settings the app displays notifications it considers "critical" that are just recommendations and ads. You must turn off notifications in Android to disable. Devs: fix your push notifications and I'll update my review.
1 ★Sucks. Every time I used the app, I'd get 5 minutes of music and 30 minutes of spin (nothing). Didn't matter how strong my signal was, it wouldn't play. All settings on my phone was correct. This wasn't another app seizing the speaker. The damn thing just wouldn't play. I don't need that type of aggravation. There, app owner, does that satisfy your demand?
1 ★I installed this 9/17/20. At ~3 am of 9/18/20, we were woken up by the sound of a radio. It want my radio alarm clock. Half asleep, I had to search for where that radio sound was coming from. I finally tracked it to my phone with this app. I clicked stop but decided I'll find out why it turned on by itself once in fully awake. Several hours later, I opened the app to see if there were any default settings that made the app play by itself. There were none. I'm still mystified.
