5 ★It now works better than ever. I have an older model air conditioner and previous versions of this app had issues. I now have FULL remote access and scheduling. Thanks developers...don't change a thing. Sidenote: the switch for turning events off doesn't seem to work but I may have missed something.
1 ★How does a such a large company release such a half baked app? Smart appliances have the potential to be really cool, but it's only as good as the app. Frigidaire invest in your app team, and invest in a QA team. There's a more options button that does nothing. I got an error message clicking through the tips section. Theres an option to type times in for the scheduler but it fails everytime.
1 ★App is almost useless. When it works, it doesn't work for long. Always shows disconnected from AC unit, even though AC shows connected. The old app worked a majority of the time without issue. Bring that app back. It's 2021, how is this an issue for this long?
1 ★Been using the old app for over a year get a notification that it is discontinued and I need to update. New app says the email address I've been using for over 30 years is invalid. So I can't use the app or any of the connected features of my AC because this badly designed app thinks my email is invalid. I'd give it 0 stars if I was allowed to.
5 ★Was able to log in after resetting my password. Able to connect my dehumidifier without issues. Glad to have basic wifi functionality with my appliance. Good work Frigidaire. Update: Superb integration with Google Assistant. I am able to turn on/off and set humidity levels with voice. Works with my Gallery air conditioner too. Once your appliances are set up in this app, you can just integrate with GA and interact with Google instead (just like most smart apps out there like IKEA Home Smart, TP Link Kasa, etc.)
1 ★Rarely keeps my air conditioners connected. This is pretty inconvenient when I'm away from my home and irritating when it happens and I'm home trying to see what temperature it is in my home or just trying to control the air conditioner. It worked alright last year but this year so far it's awful and not reliable.
1 ★Do not buy Frigidaire "smart" products. Does not work and there is no remote control, so I have to get up to manually change any setting. Currently disputing the AC purchase with credit card company as I kept trying to fix the unfixable and went past the return period.
1 ★They broke the schedule option. You cannot make a schedule that works for 24+ hours. It was the best option before and now it sucks. You are limited as to what you can schedule and if you want the AC to be on overnight you can't use the scheduling option. This is the worst update I have ever experienced, removal of some minor issues and removal of a major functional option.
1 ★The original Frigidaire App was my only hope for wifi control of my Kenmore Elite 253.77082 8kBTU window unit. This latest release no longer works with it and the earlier versions of the App have been disabled. This was THE dumbest update to a working App that I've ever encountered. Thanks for ruining a once good experience...
1 ★Can't delete scheduled events, can't even change one you create... I have tried changing and it always reverts back to the original. Your app developer really should look for a different profession. I checked the faq on my issues and it says to just click the trash icon on the screen.... yea someone forgot to add that button. App is total trash.
3 ★Good app except that something went very wrong with the scheduler... When I made a daily schedule instead of doing what it was supposed to it simply turned off my ac... Even when I turned off the schedule it continued to turn it off. Eventually I was able to erase all schedules and that stopped it...
2 ★The scheduler on the app, Frigidaire 2.0, from my AC suddenly stopped working. When I called support, after being transferred twice and a 35 minutes wait, I was told this is a known problem and they hope to have a fix next week.
