You can help raise awareness and support for animal welfare organizations and deserving pets looking for their forever homes, simply by walking with this free mobile app.

Simply pick your favorite animal welfare partner from the list, start the app, and go for a walk, run or participate in any other outdoor activity that can be measured by GPS and involves a speed of less than 14 mph. At the end of every activity, share about your adventure and pet to help inspire more to adopt and save them all.

Some months, corporate sponsors may provide a pool of cash and product contributions you can help secure for your selected group or you can participate in the monthly walking goal or challenge.

Please note: continued use of GPS running in the background may significantly decrease battery life.

2 ★Was a great App and liked that it benefited rescues. I used this app daily until the last month when it stopped tracking- tried uninstalling and re install several times and contacted Best Friends via email to let them know of issues. Sadly still no fix so have discontinued using at this point.

5 ★When the app is working it is 5/5. Currently when signing in my email is flagged as not being registered. When I try to register the email I am told it is already registered. Attempting a password recovery indicates my email is not registered. I have attempted to login through Facebook but nothing loads.

1 ★After many years of successfully using this app, this week it has become inoperable by nit recording the GPS supported distance. I have installed the app twice and the recorded distance is still wrong. Other GPS supported app for other charities is recording accurately.

2 ★I have found the app does not accurately measure my walk. I do 4 km each time and so far the most the app has said is 3km. It also does not measure at all if not the last opened.. found out when I used my GPS step tracker one time.

1 ★when I used on my iphone 6 this app was awesome , recently upgraded to the samsung s10 and it pauses when screen timeouts !! waste of effort as a 7 km trails reads the start and finish only ,Great idea and love to help the rescues Please Please I see I'm not the only one , fix this app!!

5 ★Like this a lot. Really cool that it maps your walk and allows uploads for pictures after each one. Great to be able to support a charity that means a lot to me and gives me a reward, regardless of size, for getting out and walking with my best bud.

1 ★Unfortunately my experience is that this app doesn't record your actual walk which is the point of it... It did not record 2 walks in 1 day, didn't record my full walks unless I was tuning my screen phone on, I gave all the possible perssion to the app to work and it just paussed the walk's recording.

2 ★Not very accurate with distance. Everytime I enter a new street or turn a corner if i don't click the app and make it update/sync my walks are shorted. Also when I walk forest trails it does not calculate any distance.

1 ★It only recorded 0.22 of a 4.25 mile walk! My other mapping app had no trouble at all. Not happy with the tracking on this which is unfair to the charity I'm trying to raise funds for.

4 ★This is a great app. Unfortunately it stopped working and I had to uninstall but can't remember my password for when I reinstalled. I can no longer use this app as it doesn't give me a "forgot your password" option.

3 ★Love the concept but having same issue others hace mentioned - app underreports my mileage every time (for example, yesterday I took a nearly 2.0mi walk and it was recorded at 0.4mi). Sad the shelter I'm supporting isn't getting full credit!

2 ★This used to be a great app. The last developer "update" was a fail! The app just crashes, doesn't even open. I have a previous version on an old phone that still works perfectly. U DO THIS LAST UPDATE!
