2 ★This app signs me out randomly every couple days, even if I check the stay signed in box. Also disappointed Frigidaire has moved on to their 2.0 app and hasn't moved their other WiFi enabled air conditioners to the new app. Can I get a "planned obsolescence!"?
1 ★This app really sucks. It just barely works most of the time but sometimes not at all. It makes you log in every single time you want to change a setting on your AC, and is generally sluggish and unresponsive. I just spent 15 minutes messing with this thing just to turn the A/C down. I see the company is responding to bad reviews as if they care but don't be fooled. Just look at the last time this app was updated. Almost a year and its exactly the same. Never buying Frigidaire again.
1 ★Terribly disappointing app. Constant connectivity issues. Very unreliable. Also timer feature should have a longer range than a few hours, and shouldn't default to eco mode. Should default back to previous timer settings.
1 ★This may be the worst app I have ever encountered. Buggy, slow, won't stay connected or logged in. The process for adding an AC is so slow that the AC times out before the connection can be established. I've tried all the trouble shooting steps mentioned. I would not only avoid this app, I would avoid any Frigidaire "smart" appliance. Zero stars. UPDATE: I don't have time to talk to CSRs during the workday. Please post all troubleshooting steps they would take me through. Thanks.
4 ★App works well after successful setup with appliance. Took several attempts to link my A/C and Wi-Fi but works pretty well afterwards. There is a minor lag between input to actual function when the app is "thinking" but not deal breaker. There are several advantages to using this app over the IR remote. Tip: Link your A/C device to your 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi via phone, tablet etc. Once setup is completed successfully you could switch your phone, tablet etc to 5Ghz if available.
5 ★Works great. Just follow instructions and use common sense. Sad this has such bad reviews. The wifi process is confusing, but once you get it set up, you're good. Using it for over a year now.
1 ★Only lets you use the WiFi app if you register it, which means giving your address, which is unacceptable. Developer reply doesn't help and is missing the point of the statement. This AC is out of warranty, I don't want to give my address, I should not be required to give my address just to use an app that is suppose to act as a remote control for my appliance. Give me your home address first, then I'll give you mine.
1 ★I normally do not review any apps but I feel I should with this. I am no longer able to use this with my Google assistant as of 6/26/20. States that Frigidaire is no longer available. I also check within my Google home settings and it has been removed as well. Now I went and spent the extra money to be able to use my AC with my Google home and you go and remove the feature to do so? They've replaced it with a new version that only works with new appliances.
1 ★The worst app ever created! Whom ever developed this should be so embarrassed! There are so many other Apps made by such small companies that can do the basic function of connecting to the Google network or Alexa. At 1st, after I called customer service and they said that i had to connect it through the assistant program instead of using the Google 'Home' System which offers prob over 2000 different Apps, it allowed me to connect. Then, out of nowhere, it kicked me out completely.
1 ★TERRIBLE. I connect my phone to "Air Conditioner" as instructed, but the AC's server times out (so says the app) and the phone automatically reconnects to my wifi router. I manually disconnect, reconnect to "Air Conditioner", but the app HAS NO RETRY OR BACK BUTTON, so I force stop the app and restart it, but I CAN'T START THE APP because it REQUIRES an Internet connection for login. I am a professional software developer. Whoever approved this release should be fired.
1 ★Awful! Doesn't work with Pixel 3 I've installed and reinstall the app and tried every other troubleshooting tool. Don't waste your money on fridgidare If you're looking to use the smartphone function.
1 ★So my 2 Frigidaire units start with KK8. Meaning I need to use this broken old app instead of the V2.0 version which is the only version that integrates properly with Google Home. Really disappointed that the V2.0 app does not support my not-so-very-old air conditioner. I am forced to use the old app that has completely broken integration (actually: no integration come to think of it) in Google Home. Pathetic.
