How to install WIFIPLUG APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download WIFIPLUG APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.wifi.ezplug-v9.2.2-ApkClean.apk)

2 ★Utter garbage avoid. Instructions are for iPhone (it's not 2012 anymore), app is buggy as hell, plug is poor quality. So much missing info (no 5ghz for example). doesnt natively support google assistant, uses clunky workaround wirh iftt.

1 ★Totally useless. Don't waste your time. Plugs never connect to App.

1 ★This app is atrocious. It won't let me log in at all. It keeps saying 'timed out' It won't let me send a password reminder to my phone and won't even let me register for a new account with a different email. I'm so sick of this, I'm going to bin all of my plugs and go to Tp-link wifi plugs.

1 ★First light switch worked OK with the app and Alexa, the next two wouldn't respond to the app or Alexa. Radio silence from tech support, so all three went back to Amazon for a refund. Bought Knaclean switches instead. Half the price, and work flawlessly. No need for this app now. Take my advice and steer clear of the product.

1 ★Utter rubbish. Having heard there was a new app out I got the WiFi plug out of the box of electronic junk heading for the tip. After 20 frustrating minutes it is going back to the bin and my other brand controlled sockets will continue to be used for all their wonderful functions via Alexa. My wifiplug is heading for landfill as it's never properly worked and this new app doesn't work at all on my phone. First there was some app overlay nonsense that I eventually figured out a work around for then it repeatedly said it couldn't register on the server. Enough is enough. Hardware being thrown out, money going elsewhere.

2 ★App instructions poor, and error messages unhelpful

4 ★Wish I had read some of these reviews before buying. App crashes adding 2nd device. Ok after restart but will still crash if you add another device. Only seems to handle one setup at a time. One plug added ok but tried to change the name and it cleared it an won't let me change it. Second plug refused to setup. Finally got it setup and it never came online so deleted it now it doesn't show up. Update: Since the last update to the app and the plug's firmware everything has worked well. Integration with Alexa was easy and works just fine. Wish list: I'd like to be able to tell Alexa to switch lamp on/off in 5 mins (or at 5pm)☺

5 ★Update fixed everything, works great!

1 ★This plug was such a waste of money, it's not like they're just a few quid either. It's never worked, it was a long stress fest pairing the thing for a start but even once I finally connected it to the WiFi network (plug positioned not far from the router) it always says disconnected. I've not once been able to turn the device in or off. Avoid this product as it's terrible, I don't know if other brands fare any better but this one has put me off purchasing any more smart plugs. Shame really as I've built up a large collection of smart devices throughout my home which all work as they should.
