Description

Get a map view of power outages in the Minnesota Power service territory, view number of customers without power and the number of customer affected by city/neighborhood. This app also provides you with a link to customer service and emergency reporting numbers. The more reports we receive, the more accurately we can determine the extent of the outage and its cause.

Outage Map – How it Works

The outage maps use color-coded symbols that indicate the number and general location of customers without service.

The Legend button provides an overview of the color-coded outage symbols.

The Summary button shows number of customers out by area with estimated restoration time (if known) in an easy-to-read table format. Data can be sorted numerically or alphabetically by clicking on a column title.

Selecting the color-coded symbol on the map will provide specific outage information, including:

- The number of customers affected
- The time of the earliest outage report
- The estimated restoration time (when known)

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Honestly didn't expect a power company to be this handy. Very easy, to submit outages and get (some) repair updates in the app. Needed improvements are dual fuel outage info & better real time repair status updates. Right now updates don't change much until the power is back on. Come on guys, update this thing!
5 ★And the times
3 ★I would give this 5 stars if it notified me in advance when a dual fuel outage is coming.
4 ★I have installed this app as a trial for work. Since then whether at home or work it has been fast to update the information and status. I am pleased with this app.
1 ★Everything is overlapping on the screen, is useless, can't find anything.
5 ★Need Ice and cold MOUNTAIN DEW!
2 ★It appeared to work but the whole screen was small. On my ATRIX 4g, everything is crammed into a space that uses only 60% of my screen. No rotation.
1 ★Nothing showed up here when the power was out in a suburb for 3 hours. Also, not only are these Apple's graphics, they're ancient. A phone call, even with hold times, works better. I'll stick with that & my browser for now.
1 ★A terrible port from an iOS app... Waste of space.
1 ★Garbage
4 ★This is for Minnesota Power customers and its service area, NOT all of Minnesota. Provides solid input of what to expect during an outage.
2 ★The last update was like 2 years ago, and it shows. In a power outage about 1.5 months ago, this app didn't really help for the Minneapolis area...
