Description

Mobile devices are a mainstay in today’s businesses and usage only continues to grow. Employees have traditionally relied on mobile devices to stay connected, but this has always meant that an employee has to distribute a separate phone number to ensure that business associates or customers can reach them when they need to be reach. This also results in management of multiple voice mailboxes which decreases productivity and increases the chances of a message not being heard in a timely manner.
MLC (Multiline Client) is a NEC proprietary SIP client that registers to your NEC voice platform (UNIVERGE SV9100/9300) and enables your smart phone or tablet to act like your office phone. Providing a user friendly interface that NEC customers are accustom to
.
Make/Receive calls from your NEC UNIVERGE SV9100/9300 voice system over your corporate Wi-Fi network or use a VPN connection on your Android devices to connect over LTE and other Wi-Fi networks.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Works Great. I would like to point out that most of the issues are not from the app, but from the installers, and/or their IT company, and/or just the internet connection you have. This is a VoIP application and will only preform as well as your connection back to the PBX. If you are having call quality issues, this is not because of the application, but because of several other factors. I have used this app for years now. Midwest Telecom Communications can get you connected, contact them today!
1 ★The quality of this app is lower than that of any free app I have used. Not only does it require full access to all personal information on your phone, if any of the required permissions are removed there is an internal error that disables the app.... Really need to move on to find another app more suitable for professional use. This is the app my company uses for all employees when working remote
1 ★Didn't work even with license. We had NEC tech onsite for hours trying to get to work with NEC system. We spent $500 in NEC tech support plus to test the MLC. After a week of trying, NEC finally got it working but did not work as described by sales....
1 ★current version 2.1.0.8 - but also happened on previous version I have this on both my laptop and desktop it would work, then it just stops The application will not play audio - when i don't connect a headset on my desktop when I click to go into voice mail it has a partial ring then nothing. You can tell with headset it clicks like it wants to and nothing. Why is garbage like this allowed to be deployed in a work environment? I need this software to do my job and it just plain doesn't work. Google Voice is free and has no issues - my company has to pay for our phone systems and this is what they give me to use. Come on NEC Please - I NEED this software to work, as I am sure others do. There are enough bugs with it to trouble shoot and figure it out!
1 ★Updating from v2.0.48.4 to v2.0.49.1 has caused audio to stop working in the MLC app on the android devices at our hospital. Unfortunately this is our clinical staffs primary method of on campus mobile communication. The app consistently had issues on iOS (no longer supported) after updates and it appears to be the same story on the android version as well. If you use this application and need it to be reliable, never allow automatic updates for the app in your environment and test every new version you plan to rollout before letting your devices update the app.
2 ★Disappointing app, never works on Wifi, only works half the time on data. Calls don't connect, app stays off off line 80% of the time. Seems odd that a communication company can't make a communication app that works.
2 ★This app just keeps stopping on me. Very frusyrating.
1 ★The app is finicky, clients in the other end can't hear you, and if you lose WiFi the call is dropped. The consensus is pretty unanimous between everyone I work with that this app needs some serious updates.
1 ★Cannot recommend this app. Difficult to get it to link up with Bluetooth. My regular cell phone now will not ring in the car. Making a regular phone call is challenging though I can intercom the office without issue. For the fees that I'm spending for my SV 9100 this app should have worked much better.
1 ★Very archaic app, does not play well with other audio streams on my phone. Lame.
