How to install My Passport Wireless APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download My Passport Wireless APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.wdc.wd2go-v4.4.32-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

1 ★The app is just terrible! I use the drive just to backup my mobile photos. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. You have to look after your phone all the time while backupping. The app does not tell if its backupping or not. Usually it says "failed" but still is doing backup. The same problems have been around since years back. Very bad product!
1 ★Why is everything in one file? It's a mess, why is there no option to upload a complete file? If you have a thousand photos you have to select each one individually? That's crazy. Or videos that have nothing to do with each other all lumped together? If they are segments how to you find the Next one? In the view there's no titles only length of play, this is absolutely insane for a cloud platform.... This app is lacking in so many ways its not even basic. Why not one app for all WD clouds?
3 ★The app works as it should. My complaint is with the myCloud OS. There are at least a couple of things which I found unbelievable. The first is that it rejects a second account from the same computer. I mean this is my drive, shouldn't I be able to do whatever I want? The second is there's no way of switching a user from public to private. It maybe possible but I haven't found it.
1 ★I agree with recent comments. The latest update seems to work less than 10% of the time. To get it to work I have to reboot the device - which is impossible when I'm not at home, which is the entire reason to have a remotely accessible drive. Don't force people to update apps if you haven't tested them properly! Try again and do it quickly.
1 ★This app doesn't work properly at all. The auto backup is a complete joke and very rarely finishes any of the tasks it starts. It seems that they've hired a 3rd grade elementary class to write their code. When I go to activity it displays multiple failed uploads and multiple stalled uploads that will eventually fail. Nothing works properly really. Edit: I've tried to contact your team multiple times with zero luck. I get an undeliverable error when emailing. I say again; WD is a complete joke!
3 ★Start from the very early beginning, I find it's so slow for entering this app and it does not backup automatically whenever my phones are online comparing to NAS. Or because of price basis? No I don't think so. It should be the manufacurers to look at other Cloud Service Providers to study the other suppliers' app and re-write and also improve their software always up-to-date. Make it faster upload customers' data, pic, VDO, etc.
1 ★Well like most things you buy works at first and then packs up. I have been using my cloud for some time and have been very happy with it, but the last update has rendered it useless. I don't think I have been to gain access for a long time now, think I'll just rip the disk out format it and stick it in a USB housing.
1 ★Update this App to cope with latest andriod phones like Samsung s20 and s21 to be able to auto udpate in background. I tried your support but the response isnt there. You need to get a immediate update to this app. You cant keep making different apps in market to various NAS drives. This ridculous. Get your softwareteam to resolve this soon. I have tried various methods, but this app need to seriously udpate to cope with latest android. I cant keep openeing this app to do backups everytime. What if the phone fails and this hasnt done any image backups. No more excuse, You need to update the software. No more responses. Get the developers to do their job.
3 ★Suits my needs (mainly viewing and downloading or streaming files), but layout and presentation is very clunky - you have options to sort files, but the font cannot be changed and is too large to view more than one or two words.... You can't flip your phone to landscape view either. Pretty useless if you have similar named files. Uploading of larger files, regardless of Internet speed seems to be randomly successful.
2 ★First of all this app is bloated on the mi devices I never used it, but somehow it automatically uploaded around 1gb of my data to the server without my consent, and when I tried to remove my data it's asking me to provide mobile number (like it doesn't belongs me) so they could get more info about me. Its totally a spyware never would recommend anyone using this.
4 ★12/22/2020: I decided to try again and discovered skipping "cloud" login and selecting "add network cloud" or something like like and a new page popped up asking for login. After entering password all is good. OLD review!! Used to be 3 stars but since this change to OS 3.x I can't even login to my own cloud anymore. Save yourself the headache and switch to something else, I went with Samsung network storage option for my S20+.
1 ★Not connecting through data plan, only through wifi. No debug found. Until today it worked just fine. No update made whatsoever.
