With Türk Telekom’s Wirofon service, which mobilizes fixed lines in houses, customers are able to make their calls from everywhere with their Wirofon enabled phones, laptops or PC’s via internet to be billed upon the tariff of home. By using Wirofon service, calls are made as VoIP with Wirofon android client via any internet access spot (WiFi & 3G)are billed upon the tariff of home lines that are previously registered to Wirofon service. Advantages and free call minutes of home line can used on mobile phones and PC via Wirofon. Also calling Turkey from abroad via Wirofon, costs as national call.
In order to subscribe to Wirofon service it’s sufficient to use a home line, and no extra fee is needed for the subscribership. Türk Telekom home line subscribers can use this service by installing the necessary software to their Wirofon enabled devices. Wirofon client is available for both local and international call service, but service users’ home line must be opened to international calls. The Wirofon Android client used for Türk Telekom’s Wirofon service is SIP based.
