寫在前面 - 「醉漢廚房 – 開懷弄炊」小學年代，已是媽媽的助廚。
利用一個火水爐、一隻生鐵鑊、一張生鏽鐵刀及一對手，媽媽教曉我很多菜色：釀鯪魚、煎堆油角、菜芯炒牛肉、薯仔餅、薑蛋湯、油炸鬼蒸蛋、電飯煲鹽焗雞•••最懷念的是放學後回家，在樓梯聞到煎午餐肉的香氣。
那個年代，外出上館子是一回偶一為之的「生活現實」，頂多是星期日一家人去「茶居」，來個一盅幾味；飲完茶後，便跟媽媽往街市，看看如何揭開魚鰓、怎樣用燈泡照看雞蛋、報紙如何摺疊來盛豆腐•••最難忘的是用一條鹹水草，綁吊一條活鯉魚回家。
當助廚的歲月裡，遇上很多趣事：有一回弄「紅燒五花肉」，那個生鐵鑊竟然一分為二，媽媽連忙去雜貨舖買回一隻，免得晚餐落空；另一回「蒸水蛋」，8分鐘後揭開銻蓋 (那時沒有玻璃鑊蓋)，怎麼仍是水漾水漾？於是再蒸多8分鐘，可是水漾依然！噢，原來忘記落鹽！
結婚了，正式升為「主廚」了！
當了「主廚」，外出上館子被定為偶一為之的「生活情趣」，順理成章，內子天天便成為我的專有「試菜員」；主廚有權購買各種廚具了，現在最愛的是「陶瓷刀」、「十八子剪刀」、「陶瓷白鑊」、「孖人牌雞剪」、「Lagostina壓力煲」等等。這些工具，加速了備料的準備及減省了烹調時間，好讓下班後，仍可回家開懷弄炊。
互聯網的盛行，加上數碼相機的普及，我便大著膽子，以網名「醉漢」在論壇內分享做菜的過程。資訊世界一日千里，iPhone的潮流席捲天下，順應潮流，將弄炊一事，化成「醉漢廚房App」，更廣泛地跟更多人交流。
