Convivio è l’evento più importante che permette di sostenere le attività statutarie di ANLAIDS SezioneLombarda che opera da quasi 30 anni a favore della Ricerca sull’Aids e al sostegno delle persone HIV + e
delle loro famiglie, su un territorio come la Lombardia che conta ancora un elevato numero di infezioni.
I compiti di ANLAIDS restano quindi numerosi e impegnativi: sostenere la Ricerca; promuovere
interventi a protezione delle fasce svantaggiate; proseguire nei programmi di sostegno alle attività dei
Volontari, nella formazione rivolta ai giovani per la diffusione della cultura della prevenzione e della
solidarietà; essere presente quando la persona Hiv + ha bisogno e si trova sola.
La crisi economica colpisce maggiormente i più deboli. Lo “stigma” e il senso di isolamento sociale
restano problemi non risolti; le Associazioni di Volontariato, attraverso la rete sul territorio li
affrontano, offrendo supporto psicologico e sociale inteso a garantire una migliore qualità della vita.
