2 ★This app has a lot of potential, but it's overshadowed by the clunky, weird, and inconsistent UI design. 1. When creating collages via pressing the + menu on the home screen, it doesn't show all of your closet. 2. The cropping tool is very lacking and awkward, with weird controls, plus autocropping takes FAR too long, for a poor result in the end. 3. Where do i even view my likes? 4. When creating a collage and u select an item, it should bring you back up to the canvas. Amongst other things..
3 ★This app is pretty good but it does need some changes. For example, you never actually get to see your collages full screen, that's annoying to me as often I can't see the textures in different fabrics with such a small collage frame. It would also be nice to be able to filter your closet when creating collages or looks. I have a ton of different styles but I want to see or create looks for work only for example - why can't I filter those pieces out? Overall app is pretty good but could be great
5 ★Love this app! Easy to add items from my wardrobe and I love putting together different outfits. Makes outfit planning super easy! The statistics section is really useful too.
4 ★Great app! It takes a bit of time to get everything set up, but once you do, it's fun to play around with creating outfits and managing a capsule wardrobe. This morning it even suggested an outfit for me which I'm planning to go with. 😊 One change I'd love to see them make is to give the ability to search the outfit notes! I numbered my outfits, but it ended up being not very helpful because I can't find the note until I open up the outfit.
3 ★When I first downloaded it I loved it. After a few months of using it , it started to have a bug. When I go to favourite , to shop and click on any icon of the clothes, it keeps telling me 'Failed to connect to Partner's Site. Please try later'. I left the app for a week and opened it again and it said the same thing. I uninstalled it and downloaded again and it said the same thing. Please fix me this bug, I really love the app.
3 ★I like that you can add your own clothing to the app (you can trace in the photo to take the background away), but when making a collage (creating a look with several of your items) it's not possible to make any of the items bigger or smaller. As a result my tiny top was the same size as my big jacket, which doesn't make it easy to create realistic looks! Will probably look for another app
4 ★I have just recently started using this app, I hate choosing my outfits in the morning and by using the random choice I don't have to anymore. It would be really nice to have a filter in the calendar section similar to "outfit not worn in the last 7/15 days". Also, the outfit section could have an ordering choice "least worn to most worn", etc. Overall it is as amazing app though, keep up the good work!
5 ★I don't review much, yet I have been using this almost daily for over 6 months now. It does require a lot of leg work, but once complete, what you have is essentially a digital walk in closet. It is highly customizable, and sortable by season/color/catagory/occasion etc. It uses a simple menu system which is easy to navigate. Also provides statistics like price and most worn! (I recommend exporting your closet asap after any major additions to be safe. I have not had any major issues thus far.)
5 ★Love the app! Closet does everything efficiently, and it's especially useful for planning travel outfits. I can also identify which pieces in my closet I use the least, which makes for easier closet purges for giveaway. Also, shopping in my own closet for new outfit combos is easier and more wallet-friendly. The website and social aspect is an added bonus. Finally, I don't miss Polyvore any more.
5 ★I love it! The best time to photograph is when items come from the laundry/cleaners. Prepare your wardrobe for the week in advance (this includes all accessories) your clothes will take the best looking pics. Another time is when swapping out your seasonal wardrobe. This will make it easy to batch load photos (try can be edited later) to your closet.
3 ★The main reason I downloaded this app was to get help planning my outfits. Unfortunately this app is not very intuitive. It would help if the filters used in other sections were available under the random button. Also, I don't use the home page, but I might pay more attention if some of the "noise " could be filtered out. I would suggest filtering by season, style, cost, color, etc. Another feature that would be helpful is an autocomplete function when filling out brand names.
4 ★This app is great in general. I usually use this to choose clothes for a day and it works really well. What I'd like SmartCloset to add is calendar note. I can record what I wear every day. But I can't remember if it was sunny or rainy, if it was hot or chilly, or if my outfits were good for that day. I guess some notes might be useful to remember these things.
