Download Solid Explorer Classic Unlock APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

1 ★I love this File Manager. The best one on the Play Store by far. I bought the unlocker years ago and this is the first time I'm having issues with the ads. They keep displaying no matter what I do. I've uninstalled both apps -file manager and unlocker- cleaned cache, even sign out from the play store but nothing seems to work. I own a Redmi Note 8 Pro. Please Help!
5 ★Explored the app for about 10 minutes and was already more impressed with this one then any of the other ones I've used. I used to like ES Explorer, but it has just fallen by the wayside. I'm actually glad it did, or I would not have Solid Explorer. Definitely worth $1.99.
5 ★Nice app in overall, loads of features, however leaves data in data/data/ which cannot be deleted after flashing new ROM as the trial expires And it doesn't recognize that I've bought the app. Split into two apps maybe to avoid such pain the ass? Thanks anyway
5 ★If you're on the fence about this app - don't be. I've tried the most common file managers like Astro and ES File Manager, but no other app compares in performance and design (the dual-pane design w/ bookmarks is amazing!). Works with root and has connections to the cloud. Supports FTP, SFTP, SMB, and cloud storage. Also supports compressed files like .RAR and can check md5 checksums for flashable .ZIPs. NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. Best app I've purchased in a LONG time!!!
3 ★Solid explorer is the best file manager out there. Don't get me wrong based on my 3 stars. I give 3 because I see other people getting a warning with their device security app and there is no description as to why this unlocker shows up with the Android.Malware.General warning. Which makes me a bit skeptical especially with a file manager app that has permissions to my cloud storages And more.
4 ★Forget ES File Explorer, this is so much easier with the split screen in landscape mode. Great for importing folders and files from external storage via OTG to my device. And at half the price of ES, a couple of dollars :)
1 ★With the removal of SMB1 and missing permissions and updates to target the latest android release, major functions are now unusable in the app. I would look for another supported file manager.
5 ★Been using this since the original beta, so gotta be over a year now; it pulled me away from ES Explorer (back when it was actually good and not the bloatware it is today) this is still the best of its kind, 2 bucks well spent
3 ★License checking when lunching the main app is patchy on Nougat (latest version solid explorer app and unlocker key). Device is Huawei Honor Note 8, with EMUI 5.0. Thanks!

(2) All other dual screen file managers fail to transfer files and folders from internal storage to external SD card. *** WARNING: After you install Solid Explorer CLASSIC, the app offers to convert the CLASSIC version to the NEW JUNKWARE version Solid Explorer File Manager. DO NOT DO THAT! The new version is ineffective bloatware. *** ATTENTION DEVELOPER: Thank you for updating CLASSIC. And please do not abandon CLASSIC in favor of your new piece of shyte called File Manager.

SECOND REVIEW on 01 OCT 2015: Works just as magnificently on Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (Android 5.1.1 & 6.0.1). THIRD REVIEW on 29 July 2016: also works just as well on Moto G 4 Plus (Android 6.0.1) - simple to use and a great help for people like me, who use multiple OTG drives.
