X-plore allows you to see inside of your Android device. And also outside.

This is a dual-pane explorer, there are two folders shown at same time, and common operation such as copying files are done from one pane to another.
And X-plore shows folder hierarchy in a tree view for clear orientation and fast switching to other location.

You may explore internals of the device, and if you're power user and have your device rooted, you can make changes to system data - backup files, remove unwanted applications, etc.

If you're standard user, you may choose to hide internal memory from view and be sure not to mess with system.
You can comfortably see contents of mass memories on your device, or possibly attached USB memory stick.

Simple app manager allows to see, run, copy, share, uninstall and further explore installed applications.

WiFi file sharing
Access files on your Android device from other Android devices over WiFi.

Access from a PC web browser
Manage files on your Android device from your PC.

Access to FTP and FTPS (secure FTP) servers is supported.
Multiple servers may be configured.

X-plore can display shared folders on other computers in LAN.

X-plore can access various web storage "Cloud" servers, and access their files.
You need to have account in supported web service, then you can access your files stored online through X-plore.

Supported is also SSH File Transfer (SFTP) and Terminal shell emulator.

X-plore contains music player that can play music tracks from any available location.

With Vault function, you can encrypt sensitive files, even by your fingerprint.

Main operations are related to managing files and folders - viewing, copying, moving, deleting, compressing to Zip, extracting, renaming, sharing, and more.

SQLite database viewer
X-plore can show SQLite database files (those with .db extension) as expandable list of tables, each table containing list of rows and columns with database entries.

Main interaction is done by touch screen, clicking on folders or files to open files, or long-click to open context menu which contains options which can be done on particular clicked item, or multiple selected items.
Multi-selection allows to do operation on more files at once.

Opening file may mean to use one of built-in viewer for most popular file types: images, audio, video and text.
Or you may configure X-plore to use system application for opening files, in which case system-predefined application that can open particular file is launched.

Archives (currently supported are Zip, Rar and 7zip) are displayed as other folders.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Great app, but after I paid the required amount to open some of the features of the application, It requests payment again (Problem resolved, but it comes back occasionally). Another annoying thing, this app calls the price it charges for unlocking the features "donate".
5 ★This is one of the best and most powerful file managers out there. Watched an MKV file w/ built in player flawlessly on my old android 6 device (while more popular players like VLC and MX were having trouble playing them. I'd also mention the loads of other features. Plus, it's free!
5 ★I used X-plore since from Symbian OS phone, used in nokia n73, i really love this app, from the beginning till now, it cover all what i need, and i used it everyday for my work. Thank You very much, Lonelycat Games, keep up the good work!
4 ★New update kinda ruin the .apk system, where somehow X-plore won't automatically install the apk file and instead asks what app needed to open the apk. Instead, you need to manually hold the apk button and then use the new install menu, which somehow makes it tedious considering a single tap install is way convenient, and was a thing prior to this update.
5 ★Very very useful file manager. Helps to transfer number of files from one folder to another for organising. I have been using it for a long period. I could not explore and utilize all the features of the app. If the developers provide a help file, it would be very useful.
5 ★Have been using this app for a few years now and can't fault it. I specifically wanted a dual-pane file manager and X-plore does it well. Having integrated access to Dropbox, MS OneDrive and Google Drive is also a major plus! Wouldn't use anything else. 👍
1 ★At first it seems to be perfect, but the more I use it the less I like it. It's cumbersome, plagued with bugs and its behavior changes day after day. Or is it my Sony Bravia that has the bugs? Or perhaps is it Android causing the mess?
5 ★By far the best file management tool on Android. Powerful and flexible. works with cloud services and LAN resources such as NAS. Strongly recommended!
5 ★Best file manager on Android! I've been using it for many years. I try the others from time to time, but I always come back to X-plore. It's the most intuitive, at least for me, and it has just the right set of capabilities. I'm actually surprised I haven't made a point of reviewing it before now.
4 ★On my other devices when I open an item from smb and make changes and then save it. wps saves and then X-plore prompts me to save it back to the SMB. Using WPS office to save a Word document for example. With Android 10 WPS makes me save it manually and only allows me to save it locally.
3 ★Have to enter 2fa code every single time I use the app. Inputting it once should be enough. Would also like the ability to use single pane in landscape mode. Those are my only two major gripes with the app.
5 ★Words fail me to express my personal experience to this valuable tool in managing hundreds of apps on my devices. I have been using this app for nearly a decade ... I rate it as one of the best... I love it's size leaves devices with space... more comments as I continue using
