Description

TaskS2 only works with Samsung Gear S2.

Why is this app paid while the Gear app is free? The reason is that non-Samsung users cannot access paid apps in the Gear App Store. I release the Gear app for free so everyone can download it, but its Android companion app is a paid app. Please understand that I have to pay the bills too. AND THIS IS NOT A SCAM.

Requirements:

- You must have the main Tasker app for this app to work. IT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT TASKER. You can buy the main app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dinglisch.android.taskerm

- Tasker must be enabled for this app to work. In addition to that, make sure you go to Tasker -> Preferences -> Misc -> Allow External Access.

How to install TaskS2 APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download TaskS2 APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.lehoang.tasks2-v1.9-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

4 ★Man I'm really starting to LOVE this app. Only complaint is the widget on gear S3 just stops working. Have to delete and re add. Not a huge deal, just wish that would get fixed. Tasks2 used to have issues too but perfect now!

4 ★I was hoping this would let me control my watch volume from a task as well (create a single task to silence phone and watch, and another to turn them all back on), but it's great that I can run tasker tasks from my watch, so I can silence my phone without taking it out of my pocket! Any chance of adding watch actions in the future?

3 ★Widget is a good idea, but it fails to work most of the time. Some feedback on the widget button press would be good too.

3 ★Decent app and concept. Needs to work on the connection. Constant peer disconnections make it a bit cumbersome to use. Did research and removed the app, tasker and sharptools from the built in optimization but still disconnects. Really hope this gets fixed.

4 ★Gear s3 and s7 edge. Works well for what I was wanting. You can select a task from your watch and have it run on your phone. Example: I have one task for the movie theater when I forget to silence my phone. Open the watch and run the silence phone task and it sets my phone to vibrate. After the movie I have another task to set it back to normal. It's nice not having to dig my phone out. It does get peer disconnections quite a bit, but you can usually just refresh the watch app and it connects again. I have Tasker, tasks2, and the Samsung accessory all not being optimized. Still worth it for what I was looking for.

5 ★new feature of adding the task selection right within the app is perfect. much easier than managing through watch. awesome app. pixel XL with my gear s3!

4 ★Originally thought this was a plugin, whereas it actually shows a list of Tasks on your watch. Does what it's supposed to.

5 ★This is one of the best apps for the Gear S2 from probably the best Gear S2 developer. It's just hit after hit from this guy. TaskS2 opens up so many possibilities for what one can do with the Gear S2. I use TaskS2 to remote start & remote turn off my car from my watch. I also use it to put all my devices into Do Not Disturb mode and to track locations of my family's devices. The possibilities are endless. Awesome app!
