1 ★Wendy's is great, but this app on the other hand. I've used this app for a long time and was upset that it wouldn't give every drink option my Wendy's has. I dealt with it. It doesn't let you say no ice, but I dealt with that. Now since the update earlier this month I can't even use it. It nust gives me the new terms and conditions screen, but when I accept them it tells me "lastname not formatted correctly." This app needs a major overhaul.
1 ★I have tried repeatedly to use the app. won't download offers and rewards. Talked to customer service several times (after spending 30 min. to a hour on hold each time). Chat and text NEVER worked. Got a $3 discount loaded to app for my trouble, but can't use the dang thing, because the app DOESN'T WORK!!!!!! I have placed drive thru orders 3 times, and after backing up the drive thru line all 3 times because the offers won't load for my discount, I was told all 3 times to get out of line and try again when it is working. They tried to get me to pay full price, but I declined. WORTHLESS APP.
4 ★A great time saver. When the line is long, you can pretty much pre-order while you're waiting. *NOTE* There recently has been an issue with the beverage menu when ordering combos. On my Samsung Galaxy S9, the only drinks that show up are from the breakfast menu ONLY(coffee, milk, tea, etc)
1 ★Bounces me back and forth between terms and conditions and order process. When selection is made, asks me to sign in, and start over. No way to get to checkout. Screen is mostly non reponsive. Cannot tell what tile to hit. Is it slow on just not even a button to click?
5 ★A good app for ordering your food ahead of time for pickup or dining in. The reward program is very generous. I like how you can choose what you use your points on rather than just saying you have spent x amount now you get something that you may or may not want. They also have good coupons available in the app.
1 ★A borderline non-functional app that will tell you the store you're ordering from is open, take your money, THEN tell you the store is closed while giving you nothing. An inconvenient coupon book at best, a total waste of time and money the rest of the time.
1 ★Go to check out, "that order is already being processed." It's been at least a month now that it won't let me check out. Employees are useless, they have nothing to do with it and have no insight whatsoever. Finally going to reinstall and see if it resolves
1 ★I've used this app now for many times and lately (the last 3 purchases) could not apply the coupon. Every time an error pops up. I follow the instruction to correct but the error still prevent me to complete the order. So to finally put the order through I had to remove the coupon. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
1 ★Terrible app in how it handles the special offers, in the McD's app you just select the offer and it adds the item to the cart, in Wendy's app you have to add the item first at full price and then add the offer which applies a discount. Not very intuitive process until you discover this.
3 ★I love the offers and convenience. I don't like that it doesn't know when stores have different hours, no carry out, etc. tonight I placed an order for drive thru and paid only to find that store was not open at 9pm. but I was able to change order to dif location
1 ★Hands down the worst app I have downloaded. If the insane hidden fees and extremely aggressive design wasn't egregious enough, the app doesn't even work as intended more than half the time, and has literally failed to process my order nearly every time I have used it.
1 ★Can't order a drink with no ice. This alone makes the app useless to me because I get an ice cream headache from all that ice. If you can order a burger with no ketchup then clearly you have the capability of adding a no ice option. I frequently go to another burger restaurant when I'd prefer Wendy's because I can order ahead and get a drink I can actually drink. Also the app tells me when a location has a freestyle machine, but then doesn't give me any extra drink options.
